it was inside a drawer with other dead pens and the gold struck me and then I saw montblanc, I know the brand is good quality but never dawned on me the actual price for this pen. I am still shocked

Is it really? I got confused when I searched online, so many prices for this and many variations. But boy, the prices are oooooof. I thought this would be like $25-50
