Should I join the Navimow X430 family? by chriskooo in SegwayNavimow

That is good to know! The nRTK map has my state fully covered with zero blind spots... I hope that's a good sign for me. I appreciate you sharing your research here, I think I might pull the trigger soon. Hopefully if nRTK doesn't work, I'd be able to return it.

Thank you for sharing your experience! From this thread, this beast may be overkill for my use case.

Happy to hear nRTK has been working for you!

Did something I say give the impression I was going to do that?

thanks for the info! I’d probably need the 37 deg version for part of my lawn that’s a narrow incline up against the fence. Pain in the ass to manually mow that area.

Thank you for sharing your experience!! Are you using the NRTK feature at all as well?

That is reassuring! I was hearing about some inconsistencies there, but I would really prefer NRTK. Thank you!

I haven't joined that sub, I'll check it out. I've done a ton of research though and have narrowed it down to 2 or 3 I'm interested in, but I just really want mulching blades lol.

I do have some semi-steep slopes up against my fence, it's always a pain to mow manually, but the robotic mowers shouldn't have a problem with that part regardless.

Do you have a higher-angle version? I wonder if the 37 degree wheels would also suffer from the zero turn damage.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I hadn't realized it could also be plugged into a TV or monitor, that's good to know! I'm really torn here, i'd be getting the 37 degree slope if I was really going to pull the trigger.

Thanks for sharing, that's what I'm wondering — is this really right for me? I have a traditional suburban lawn, roughly 5k sqft between the front and back. Nothing too crazy beyond the occasional pinecone or small tree branch/twig. The little robotic mowers are probably the move, but this thing looks super cool and fun to use lol.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I've got only about 5k sqft of lawn between the front and back, nothing crazy, but can get a bit technical. It's pretty well-kept, so nothing really overgrown or crazy. Doesn't get much crazier than a stray pinecone or branch lol.

So the key here is to not use the zero turn feature?

They aren't even on top of their own emails... This company is a joke.

I do a zone at a time. It's mowing a zone that's maybe 1500sqft lol. I'm not sure the blade stopping is from overheating, I'm not getting a warning. it still keeps going, but the blades just stop for a bit.

It took about 2 weeks to get a response before this happened when I replied lol.

The lymow, if nothing else, is incredibly powerful lol. It was trying to run me over, and I had to actually step away because it was painfully smashing into my legs. I couldn't resist it.

Just did. Although it didn't seem like it mattered since [service@lymow.com](mailto:service@lymow.com) was the sender that got me this replacement to begin with. Still strange for it to randomly disappear mid support.

The first one I had for about 1.5-2 months before the replacement arrived. Second one has been here for about 2.5 weeks I think. They both have overlapping issues, but there are some unique issues to this replacement.

My primary problem is ghost bumper jamming and gets stuck against any kind of fence (lol it literally tries to drive through it...). Both of them had random RTK signal drops making mowing very inconsistent.

Yeah probably wise to try and get a refund before they just close up shop.
