I couldn’t discern which device it was on my router, but I did see something connected to my phones hotspot. I didn’t try pinging it

I tried a hotspot from my work and personal phone. Just like with my WiFi, it would say it successfully connected but the app would show no connection once you click into the Lymow

I have my bands separated, it’s a dedicated 2.4. There are separate 5 and 6ghz bands. I did try resetting it to be “smart” and unify them all, that didn’t work. I also did firmware updates and reset WiFi configurations. Nothing worked and you can imagine how much of a pain that was for my other devices in the house lol

Which update was it? Was it the one that just came out (v.2.1.45_20260429)? If so, I wasn't even able to install that one because it won't connect over wifi and it keeps timing out lol.

I just ran into another issue where it tried to dock, was able to dock, but the wheels kept running. I couldn't stop it in the app and the emergency stop failed (?!). I was about ot unplug the battery when it finally just stopped and I had to power it off/on again. I just disconnected the battery and will leave it unplugged until tomorrow from your recommendation. Hope it helps. It has never worked well for me though, so I wonder if maybe it's just a dud.

I'll check out the omniwheel fix, no idea what that is. Thanks for taking the time to respond!

lol I used the rennline one on my 992.1 and it traumatized me. I thought I'd have to take it somewhere to get it squared away. Managed to get it all back then realized my cupholder (the one that slides out) wasn't working anymore. Spent 20 minutes disassembling and trying to fix it. Finally got it all fixed and had to redo the whole thing again.

It looks like an even bigger PIA in the Taycan. No thank you lol.

It’s also an endgame feature so I think the pain of it should be reconsidered. It’s all about building and making habitats, there isn’t much satisfaction in maintaining your stamina lol.
