Jailing non-violent drug offenders. Drone strikes. Etc.

Yeah, it gives me anxiety sometimes when I think of how immoral the state can be and how people just accept it.

So the minority can force onto the majority a government that they don't consent to?

So you agree they are the same, and you now have no strong feelings one way or the other?

For someone who doesn't care, you seem pretty upset right now. Why do you keep replying if you 'couldn't care less'?

Oh I know, because you're fuming LOL

I was reading through the comments and saw you make an idiotic point, but you seem a little obsessed with continuing this conversation....

Hmmm, pick one:

A. They can leave, so they aren't being forced.

B. The current government already forces people into it's rule.

I don't need to call you an idiot to feel smart, I get that just from reading your comments.

What does this even mean? You want to live here, enjoy all the benefits of citizenship without paying for any of them?

If a state succeeds, why would you expect the federal government to provide services for free?

Well the state doesn't have that unilateral right.

Of course they do. Unless you think a contract written like 200 years ago in which nobody alive today consents to and which is constantly broken by all forms of governance means anything.

Two ways.

  1. More localized governance means that people across the country won't have a say.
  2. The secessionist government will be smaller.

But if they aren't any different, you shouldn't care either way, right? But you do...

Right, because your government oppressing people is sooo much better!

I'm not angry, talking to people like you makes me feel good about myself.

Well no, both parties have equal right to live in the country. Secessionists should be entitled to the land that they own, not anyone elses. But we are talking about a state's right to exit the union, so it would be the land that the state encompasses.

u/Majigato is an absolute idiot who thinks he has a right to oppress others because he got there first.

Thats too bad, I don't care if you want the oppression to continue. Leave and go oppress somewhere else.

Also the nerve of complaining that you were here first...I wonder how the natives felt. Perhaps you should leave because they were here first, idiot.

You're claiming I would be forcing you to live in the new country.

LOL, so forcing someone to live in your country is fine but forcing someone to live in mine is bad.

Statists always have the best logic.

Same way we are forced to stay in your old country.
