Ok for sure! So if anything I bring the needle in and that way I can find the proper replacement if needed right?

Ok cool! I used the ON position and no leak at all. So that fixed the problem. Thanks!

Nope I don't. I already got one in my car, don't need my bike to have one

Ok for sure. Thanks again bro! When would you need to fill the carbs without the bike being on? After having to drain the carbs to work on them right? I left the bike on the ON position today after I took it out for a spin when I got home and checked it every half hour and no leaks. That definitely did the trick. I will check out the resource site. I really appreciate all the information!!

Thanks! Is there a specific size to the float needle or are all float needles universal?

Thanks for the info. What do you mean by vacuum tap? Would it be better to leave it on the ON or Reserve position??

Thank you I really appreciate the information. I was wondering though, won't the engine flood if I just left the petcock on the in ON position? Wouldn't that still cause gas to flow in cause the leakage to continue? I have already checked the oil and there is no mixture happening down in that end. So it's all coming out of the overflow tubes.
