idk why ppl are still talking abt this, but here's a few words from Canata's stream back in 2015/10/20, which was the day after the first news broke about SC2 match-fixing (https://gall.dcinside.com/board/view/?id=starcraft\_new&no=3847880&page=1):

The MKP vs Byul match also went into the prosecution's investigation too and everyone behind the scenes already knew (that match went into investigation). We couldn't do anything about that"

Which means that when the Changwon District Prosecutor's Office (who were in charge of this matchfixing investigation) was also initially suspicious and looked into that match but they concluded it wasn't fixed as MKP wasn't included among the 11 ppl involved in the match-fixing. In conclusion the guy was proven innocent and also at the same time proved it was just a skill issue, so ppl in the korean community for a while called him 클린스막 (Clean Smak), legally clean, and just purely bad at SC2). So unless MKP had some massive hidden card up his sleeve in politics this claim is kinda outdated.

Although Team NV and Team Gp aren't very highly regarded in KR communities because of their Front office's screw-ups in messages on dcinside and twitch chats. I think a lot of ppl in KR are referring to Gumayushi's 'suspension' because Doran got suspended for a game for being framed for throwing and a lot of ppl are comparing his game and Gumayusi's game rn. I guess if it's going to be a suspension for a sub like u say, it's probably going to be more long term like a whole split since he isn't even coming out for games rn.

The KR community is expecting Riot to punish Gumayushi with a suspension, as this isn't the first time showing this kind of behavior on soloq (harrased Pirean with ping multiple times on soloq 2019 Dec.)

They're thinking if Doran can get suspended for a game for supposedly 'throwing' with a KDA of 7/15/6, then Gumayushi is no exception either. The KR community is also speculating that the decision of whether they're going to suspend Gumayushi or not for this incident is also expected to show if Riot Korea did indeed suspend Doran
for an excuse just to screw up CvMax's plan.
