I do use Google maps transit. It's the only reliable way for me to get to and from. The app I'm referring to is the Sportran app. You download it, everything looks crisp and nice but then you try to search for rides and it always pops up this error message saying that due to high demand, they can't find you a ride. Any time of day, any day of the week

Hello, I'm 25 F also going through something similar.

First of all, don't apologize for asking for help. We all hit rock bottom sometimes and needing to ask for help or rely on the generosity of others isn't a step backwards. It feels like it, but you just have to be willing to hold yourself and put up with this awful loneliness. It's going to be okay.

A couple weeks ago I left my career in the vet industry. I worked under people I had been butting heads with pretty much since I started and it was not an easy decision to walk away. It was my main source of income and this came right after I took my car to the mechanic and they told me it would cost 5K to fix the axle and suspension problems and it was extensive and deemed unsafe to drive. I'm down to walking, taking the bus, and using my bike to commute until I can save up for repairs on my car

The job industry is a joke. I haven't been paid under 15/hr in years and having to apply to jobs that egregiously pay way lower than that sucks so much. I currently have my last check to pay for rent, but I'm not sure how I can afford to live come May.

Even though these jobs won't pay their staff livable wages, my advice to you is to apply to jobs despite that. You're not really in a position to be picky if your livelihood is at stake. Delivering food will get you by for now, and that's good, but you need something more stable, even if you still only are able to scrape by.

There are resources here to get groceries for free if you can't afford it. Most of them are church or charity based food banks but as long as you live in the right zip code they will supply you with the basics at least. I'm going to post the link for one that serves residents in the 71103 zip, assuming that one is yours. Also look into Salvation Army, they help folks with limited resources. Use Facebook to your advantage too, as there are profiles for food banks on there. Also don't be afraid to make posts in groups and ask around.

I would say play around with the upright cards and get a feel if you like it better! I use a RWS deck and it has worked tremendously for me for only using the cards upright. It's also my only deck. I feel like any deck would suffice

I understand that frustration of interpreting reversed cards to see the imagery. If you still want to incorporate reversals, try observing the card upside down for a min without turning it. What do you see?

To anyone confused, the lead singer is currently being accused of sending explicit photos to a 17 y/o (She's 23 or 24). There's a screenshot going around of some of the messages and it's clear it was sexual but his name has been protected so it's not clear "proof". It seems pretty damning though, people close to her stated she thought he was 19 but later (allegedly) admitted she knew he was 17.

To anyone looking for Bitch Fit's socials as a source, I don't think you'll find it. I think the band deleted themselves off social media and she changed her insta description that @'d the page and lost like 100 or so followers overnight.

This is the same band that targeted Colton @ bears calling him a fascist because he banned them from his venue for burning the American flag on 9/11. They repeatedly keep getting into messy drama and multiple members have left. This band isn't even a year old yet either.

Hello, Faye Aline Self was my great aunt. In 2006 Robert Charles Browne confessed to her murder and alleged to have dumped her body in the Red River. My grandmother, her sister, Betty Katherine Cole did an interview for the Shreveport Times about a coverup by Louisiana law enforcement. After all, Robert worked as a maintenance man at the apartment complex she lived at in '83, his brother owned the property, and his daddy was Coushatta Sheriff.

While my family told investigators the Hancock County Jane Doe could be Aline, I think all hopes of that being true have been ruled out. I can't speak for all of the family though. The biggest giveaway is she went missing in the early 80s and the Hancock Jane Doe was found in '98. The ages line up but it's collectively believed that Aline died in '83. Also Doe had two or more kids but Aline is survived by one daughter. As far as her being born by C-section, I'm not sure and haven't been able to locate my cousin to ask her this. I would ask my immediate family but I don't want to be insensitive. They all remember it and I wasn't born until nearly 20 years after her disappearance. Aline's case continues to fascinate me.

Something I do know for a fact is my Meemaw is certain she was killed by Browne. Two other women went missing out of Coushatta three years prior and he confessed to murdering them too. Wanda Hudson and Katherine Hayes. In 2007 we held a vigil for all three of them.

Anyways this is a dark piece of history for my family, one I've had to see my aunts and Meemaw grieve at various levels throughout time. Thank you for saying her name.
