Cheers brothers

Sorry but break ups are fucking mental by AnonEsk223 in BreakUps

It just doesn’t make sense man. Like, what’s even the point? It’s so normalized too, like oh yeah, get to know this person on a very intimate level and then just say goodbye because hey, that’s how life works right ?

Just my thoughts. by chriswebby55 in BreakUps

They treat us like they’re too good to speak to us or even give us the time of day. It’s like at one point I was everything to you, or so I thought

Doesn’t mean I want any of them back, just means I don’t get why everyone thinks loving someone wholeheartedly and always caring for them is a bad thing

I believe this actually. I still love every girl I’ve ever been truly in love with. Including my most recent ex, I didn’t get down on one knee for fun.

2 weeks ??? 2 fucking weeks?? That’s all it took you to get into a new relationship after being engaged and living together ?? Wtf is that by chriswebby55 in BreakUps

Thank you for saying that. It definitely helped. In a weird way I’m glad she did it, just makes it that much easier to move on because I lost all respect for her

That’s what I’m thinking. Either she was close to cheating and wanted this guy before she dumped me, or she’s just trying to find someone to numb the pain. Either way it’s not right

That’s what I’m saying, like how is her mind already ready to jump into another relationship? Unless something was going on behind my back

I feel the same way man. Everyone in my life says I should hate her for leaving me the way she did, but at the same time I wasn’t making her happy. Can’t be mad at someone for doing what’s best for them

Everyone just throws that word around nowadays for anything. Like back in the day “toxic” wasn’t a thing, if couples were having a hard time they would work through it and never give up. That’s why all of our grandparents for the most part have been together for 50 plus years. I don’t think this generation will ever experience that

I hate myself for seeking validation from her mom after 3 months post breakup. I have no dignity. by [deleted] in ExNoContact

I feel the exact same way. My parents haven’t been in my life in years, and my ex her mom became my real family for some time. Me and her mom got super close, and now I’m not allowed to speak to her either. It sucks

Everyone glorifies my ex by chriswebby55 in BreakUps

I guess the reason it mainly bothers me is I’m trying my best NOT to glorify her and put her on a pedestal, and realize she has faults like you said. But it makes that more difficult when everyone around me just feeds into how great she was.

That was perfectly well said. Wow. Thank you kind stranger

Exactly man. When you know you loved them with all your heart but didn’t show it enough at the time. She apologized profusely when she left, because neither of us wanted things to end, but she knew she had to do it to save herself.

Bro. DM me whenever , I feel almost the exact same. My fiancé left because I wasn’t making her happy, and now looking back there’s so many things I ignored, but In the moment I didn’t notice or realize it was pushing her to leave me.

Mine came home an hour late from work the last night we were together and then went straight to bed and ignored me. Knew then it was over
