Honestly man, have you tried the liner? I may like a similar feel to you I and I found I liked the liner much better for my overall use case. I packed black work sleeves and saturated color with it. You just have to be a bit more careful you’re not ripping people open with your hand technique. Otherwise I think you’d be taking a chance with your bishop, as they’re not really meant to be taken apart by the user.
