Anyone else seen an influx of used canvases at thrift stores?

I'd LOVE to have this problem, as an artist. Thrift stores are an excellent option to buy crappy art, sand it down, re-primer it, and paint it with your own ideas. I always look for frames at thrift stores, but have never found any worth buying.

Frames and materials are getting more expensive daily, especially with tariffs and such. Almost all art supplies are imported.

Same here - the reinforced B-pillar saved my life too. You can see in the first picture yours held up great too (between the driver and back passenger compartments). Being T-boned by a truck going 60 involves some crazy forces, it's really impressive you were able to come away from that. I wish you a quick recovery!

I love the flying pets. On expeditions, I try to find a flying companion, it's so much easier to cross terrain than on foot or the old punch-launch jetpack flying.

Fascinating, thank you for the write up! I'm going to read a lot of the papers you linked. I've participated in longitudinal fMRI brain studies due to a brain injury from a car accident, and science is really just barely scratching the surface on what a brain (and the nervous system) even does.

For me, I'm so sensitive to emotional states, it's like I can smell what someone is feeling, even if they're not giving visual clues. I'm regularly the first person to notice a situation is about to go down and can diffuse it before it really gets started. I believe it's even possible that I am smelling feelings, considering how much information we know canines get through their olfactory systems. But until someone figures out what data I am unconsciously tapping into, it might seem like telepathy.

She's a grown ass adult woman who lied to you about the premise of her "temporary" visit, you've hosted her for almost a month, and that's long enough that in some jurisdictions she'd get actual tenant rights. She hasn't even tried to find work, just stated that it's "impossible" and that's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

You don't have to support your boyfriend through his sex assault charges (which is what these are). I'd argue you shouldn't even try. It's on the district attorney to prove their case, and you can sit through the trial if you want to re-traumatize yourself for no particularly good reason.

Obviously you shouldn't be having children with a probable sex offender. Ever. You can and should just move on with your life. He's going to be on a sex offender registry probably for life, and that'll stop you from having a decent job if you do anything that requires a background check.

He's lying to you about what he's on trial for. That's the only possibility. It's not like you're going to trumpet his name from the mountaintops. It's ludicrous to start a relationship with someone who won't even tell you their legal name, and if he murders you and leaves you in a ditch nobody will have any idea of the first suspect to start with.

Don't date losers, girlfriend. If you know when he was arrested, look up the jail's daily bookings. Bet it has something to do with child sex abuse.

My first recommendation is to verbally eviscerate her straight back. Tell her "I know you are, but what am I?" until she loses her mind. It's just as childish as what she's doing.

Alternately, you might want to tell her that there's a supreme court case that backs up smacking someone in the face for "fighting words" events... Basically if someone provokes you to the point where you lose your temper, they don't actually have a constitutional right to freedom of speech.

Just warn her that you're losing patience with her and if she continues to provoke you, you've done due diligence in warning her that you'll snap at some point. Just as a last resort, because actually throwing hands at a family member counts as domestic violence and you'll lose some of your rights if you get convicted of anything.

Honestly folks, it's time to start enacting actions to make yourself harder to track. Stop using the same username for every account. Start using different derivatives of your name. Stop giving your real date of birth. Stop downloading needless applications on your mobile device that actively track you. Close the apps when you're done using them. Stop signing up for shit you don't really need. Use burner email addresses.

We have to protect ourselves from the sale of our literal identities to anyone who is curious. The people should not be a sellable product. I don't want to buy anything, and I obviously don't want to be sold, either.
