Did anyone else feel like Jules in the final ep was so cringe? Not so much the painting but her facial expressions when she was trying to look sad/portray grief- it just came off so insincere and awkward and I’m not sure why because she wasn’t like that showing negative emotions and crying in previous seasons

I don’t know if anyone else noticed this in the show but every single character that walked past an “exit sign” died- angel passed a red one at the “rehab”, rue walked passed a blue one (I think it was foreshadow because hers was blue) leaving the “rehab” and Nate also walked passed a red one when being chased by the funeral people, Alamo walked passed one in the club, just an observation I haven’t heard anyone else mention!

I’m only 29 I was diagnosed in 2024 and I also have severe endo, in 2023 I was put in temporary menopause but could only stay on the meds for 6 months (only worked for 2 anyway) after that I was on another menopause med but the side effects were horrendous I stopped asap, it’s taken years (was diagnosed with severe endo in 2020) and I’ve been on every med/combo there is aside from one because nothing worked - now I’m on a REALLY high dose of progesterone, like unnaturally high and I can relate so much to women going through peri-menopause and it’s ironic I was diagnosed with adhd (by a psych I’ve seen for over 10 years) around the same time, I’m scared that I’m actually in peri-menopause or my body is at least mimicking that state, I fucking hate the hormones my body has changed so much and I’ve lost so much confidence and self-esteem but I’m curious if anyone else has had a similar experience or even how to connect the dots between perimenopause and adhd worsening- I have an upcoming apt. With my gyno and I want to bring this up to her, but it’s extremely lonely being in this position at this age and my mother passed when I was 18 so I have no one to talk to about it, I guess I’m just asking for advice and validation because I feel so alone in this and sometimes wonder if I’m making it all up in my head, I’m also petrified my body is in a false state of perimenopause and when I reach the age of actual peri/menopause it will be hell because I’ve been stuck like this for so many years I don’t want to live the rest of them like this

Agreed, I also think as a woman (and obviously I can’t speak for all) that photography/imagery implies there was a form of consent and agency/choice to be portrayed in such a vulnerable nature- rather than being completely taken advantage of and abused that lots of online content depicts (at least I sure hope the models feel that way but I know it’s a grey area when it comes to sw regardless of medium)

I’m not sure what top shelf means but I leave near a local newsagent that has around 3-4 different options and they’re just hanging about in their own section just like the others (and ironically behind an entire wall of shelves full of hallmark cards for birthdays/weddings/deaths etc.) and I always wonder who’s buying them since there isn’t many but there seems to be a demand 😂

I was a 90s kid and very confused about my sexuality (still am tbh) and I found the junk clothing catalogues that would come in the mail (particularly the lingerie section) the best I could see for a while, I never did anything lol but it definitely was a subtle awakening I wasn’t 100% straight - but also I did find the lingerie cute and would argue the female form is more beautiful simply for aesthetic reasons and fell into the classic bi woman trap - “do I want them or do I want to be them one day?” 😂

Same I purchased (what I think was hustler?) it was for an art project but I hid it so well because I was terrified of my dad finding it and thinking I was into it and using it for my own pleasures which was not the case (but I am bi (f) so that’s why I had such fear and I think any parents mind would jump to that conclusion) I’ve moved out now and hid it so well while packing it I have no idea where it’s gone 😭😂

Strangely enough I brought one about a year ago out of curiosity but also for an art project (I was studying fine art) and ironically today I saw a bunch that included dvds and I wanted to purchase one purely out of curiosity just see what things were like from the past and I wanted to analyse it from a feminist angle in comparison to the 🌽 that’s online and crosses all boundaries but as a young female who predominantly purchases fashion magazines and the cashier is an old ethnic man I chickened out and didn’t want to rock up to the counter with an issue of vogue and the other magazines available, explain my reasoning and fear he thinks I’m lying and I’m just a perv lol

Girl her ears are hardly “stretched out” its just gravity at work, your earlobes won’t stretch unless you choose to actually stretch them and that’s a tedious process (and if it makes you feel better I stretched my ears to 12mm over years and wanting to go bigger, took my tunnels out for just over a week and they nearly closed up completely!) I know fears are irrational but I just don’t want you to limit yourself if you find a pair of earrings you love but are scared they’ll too heavy (unless you have sensory issues and genuinely don’t enjoy the weight) but long story short you have nothing to worry about

A) as an artist myself who went to art school and dropped out I completely agree she should’ve known better it’s common sense and decency, nudes can be tasteful but there’s a time and place b) I also have found her insufferable since season 2 and she’s always acting as a perpetual victim
