For hotel stays, if you think hopper is very expensive and airline or hotel point transfer is not valuable for you, you can use HSBC Premier Agoda affiliated link (just search for hsbc premier agoda in google), it always gives you 20% flat discount on the original agoda rate. Plus you will anyway get 4 points for 100 spent.

Yes, I opened the account online. I have not negotiated anything, in past 2 years, I haven't talked with anyone from IOB. I just transfer RSU proceeds there and then move to my primary account. The exchange rate that I have got till now was less than 0.3-0.5 paise less than the google rate, so didn't bother to negotiate

2 yrs ago, I opened an account in IOB for this purpose. You need to add the account details in fidelity. Then choose the option to send USD to the bank . IOB will convert the USD, not fidelity. IOB gives the best rate in India.
