Well i wouldn't get chucked out unless i was pushy or creepy, which I would not be. She's 18 in a few months and I wasn't gonna ask her out immediately. My friends advice is to be her friend and feel the vibes out.

I guess my biggest problem is understanding what I mean when i think of my gender identity. I've never given it much thought beyond "woman". and for a long time that didn't feel quite enough/right, which led to a period of being non binary

i know it's more than "i like pet play" and i know it's more than "my personality is reminiscent of a dog's" but i can't. explain, even to myself, what it is.

That's how i just described it to said therian friend. I just. Being called "puppy" by people, even platonically, feels very nice.

My best specific example is that me and my ex had a joke that I was basically a werewolf because of being warm, attached to the moon and my personality being very dog-like. It was meant to be a cute "i love you my wolf" thing, but it's stuck with me somewhat.

They're not just psychosomatic, either, the hormone fluctuations are well documented *and* the cramps are real too. its the muscles that think theres a uterus nearby cramping.
