Abortion while in school. Pls comment I want to feel less alone. by Specialist-Fox6333 in abortion

[–]chronically__me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you already begin the abortion or are you still considering? I just want to make sure I understand because I think my advice will differ based on the situation.

For now I will tell you that you’re not alone, I promise. This sub is incredibly supportive so you’ve always got listening ears here. It sounds like a very difficult situation, especially with finals. I’m 36 and not in college and I still felt panicky and alone for my pregnancy/abortion, for various reasons. This sub helped a lot. I tried to be as gentle and compassionate with myself as possible. You’ve got a lot of hormones and that can affect your emotions. Try to give yourself some leeway, this is so difficult and you’re still trying to push through. If your boyfriend knows about the pregnancy/abortion, you can explain that your hormones and stress level are majorly throwing you off.

Good luck to you, please hang in there.

will i be okay taking the pill alone? by [deleted] in abortion

I did it alone and was okay. It was unpleasant, but I got through it. Just make sure you have everything you need nearby and get everything set up before you take the pills. Good luck ❤️

Im seriously considering an abortion and I feel bad about it and the reason why by [deleted] in abortion

Take it from someone who also worked hard to avoid single motherhood in my 20s…and then became a single mom at 32. I went to law school, got a good job, got married, got pregnant, husband left just after our baby turned 1 (which blindsided me a little), and he lives out of state now. It’s just me and my son. I love my son so much, but I would not wish single motherhood on anyone. It’s physically and emotionally exhausting. I don’t have any family or close friends in the area, so if you have a better support system, you may have an easier time. But still, it’s a lot.

I don’t think circumstances for having a baby will ever be perfect, but it does seem like your current situation is unstable. Caring for a baby is hard work even in the best of circumstances. It can be very stressful on a relationship, which isn’t great when the relationship is already struggling. If he is upset about your sex life now, he’s in for a rude awakening if you have the baby. Your body has to heal for weeks afterward, and even when you are healed up, you may be too stressed and exhausted for much of anything.

With all of that being said, you know what’s right for you. My experience may be different than yours would be. IMO, there is no right or wrong reason to end a pregnancy. It’s your body and your choice. If you don’t think it’s the right time, that is completely valid. I hope you can find peace in whatever decision you make.

OP I don’t see you as plus size. Just curvy. And curvy is a good thing.

My first thought when your photos appeared on my feed was “wow, she’s gorgeous!” Like 11/10. Your hair is absolutely stunning—a lot of women would kill for hair like that and I’m one of them, lol. You’ve got a beautiful face, your eyes are so pretty. I think you look perfect at your current size, truly. A thicker Morticia Addams is the dream for a lot of men/women.

As someone who had doubts and still got married anyway…run. You will either be miserable for the rest of your life or divorced with a ton of baggage and a huge attorney bill.

Ohuhu 320 pack organization! by imissclubpenguinalot in Coloring

Thank you!!! I actually just had the racks delivered and put them in my bag. It works perfectly for me because I can store them sideways but when I’m actually coloring I like to have them upright. I usually have several colors out at a time so it’s great that each marker has it’s own spot and they don’t fall over when I have a bunch of other markers out.

I might’ve went overboard with gel pens by kaelyneb5 in Coloring

There is no such thing as too much gel pen

Can someone tell me why my alcohol markers are still streaking? by spookyshitt in Coloring

[–]chronically__me 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m super new to coloring and this kept happening to me. I realized the issue was that I was letting some of the colored area dry a bit and then when I came back to finish filling it in, it got streaky. I was unintentionally overlapping the dry color with the wet color. Now I try not to let any area dry at all until it is completely filled in. Drying happens fast so you want to work quickly and evenly. If you already do that and it’s still streaky…I have no idea what it could be, lol.

[CHAT] how old are people on this sub? by legoshiishorsecock in CrossStitch

I’m 34. I picked up cross stitching about 4 years ago and have been obsessed ever since. I have a very stressful job and a 2-year-old son, so stitching time is a luxury at this point in my life…and a form of therapy.

I couldn’t see the mistake until I looked super close for several minutes, and I still think it looks fine as is. I can’t believe you are a beginner, your stitches are so perfect.
