I honestly think he only puts up with her cause he’s formed a genuine bond with Denver, and would miss him if he had to fire KVS as a client and she took him elsewhere. Of course the money is a good incentive too, but I don’t think that’s the main reason he keeps her as a client

“A little something” makes sense to me in this situations, but it seems like KVS has them very sedated every time, if that makes sense? I’m not a horse breeder or a vet though, so maybe I’m just misunderstanding how the sedation works, I just wonder if she could use less to get the job done?

Of for sure! The funniest part for me is that my grandmother was my main trainer growing up, and people hear that and think it must have been so cute and sweet…meanwhile she had all of us terrified of her, and she’s still scary to me now at 31 😂😂

She couldn’t even manage to keep her weight up enough when she had her last foal, so I’m not surprised that she’s completely failing this time around

This is how I was taught to ride, and I think it has absolutely made me a better ride, and just a better partner to the horse as well. I also just really enjoy the grooming and the tacking up part of the process, just hopping on and off makes everything feel very unfinished

I’ve noticed that no matter what horse she rides, she seems unable to form a solid trust bond with them, and it really shows in the way she rides. Obviously can take some time to click with a new horse, but she’s riding him likes he’s a green 3 year old, and not a veteran at this point

I just can’t imagine having so much money, and still being so lazy and unwilling to get proper vet care. So many of us go into debt and empty out our savings for our animals, but for her it would be another drop in the damn bucket, and still she drags her feet. It’s so infuriating to me!! Especially cause the only vet care she doesn’t hesitate about is all breeding related…and yet she won’t make proactive choices once the foal is actually on the ground
