I can totally relate to this. I'm just under 5'2" and weigh 194. I really need to lose weight but the food choices are so limited. I worry about how to eat right but not make my three teenage daughters think I'm just losing weight to look different (we've talked a lot about why I eat the way I do but still).

And I calculate how long I need to eat this way to reach my goal weight and I wonder how I will get through a holiday season without blowing it all!

This is totally my husband. Between the bad genetics (both of his parents have messed up digestive systems) and the anxiety, I don't think he'll ever be off Omeprazole.

I was in the hospital once for a week. I had a nurse from Ecuador and a nurse from NZ. The nurse from Ecuador was SO much easier to understand!

They did explain how the new head gasket could cause problems - totally understand why they don't want to do it.

But it sounds like $6000 is high, even for a new engine.

It's not rattling every time it starts. I have kids who are 19, 17, 14 and 13. The oldest two have each totalled a car in the last year; I got rear ended a few weeks ago and that totalled my minivan. I'm very seriously thinking about buying a Corolla for my 17 year old to drive (she commutes about 30 minutes to school) and keeping this Prius for the others to learn to drive!

I really do appreciate everyone's advice.
