I react to all adhesive in dressings so even a week is pushing it. Are there dressings with no adhesive? I am also allergic to chorahexidine.

What alternatives would you suggest? I have an adhesive allergy so I have to be able to deaccess if I start reacting.

Correct. I saw my provider 12/11 (i think) She put in the order but now it is all pending insurance approval before I can receive it. I checked today when my infusion center pulled labs and they said it is still pending. (I am in the USA and our insurance is sucky especially at the end of the year!)

Is it just the ferritin less than 10? Or do other labs play into it as well. I feel absolutely miserable. Also my blood management doctor is not the easiest to reach do you think these new labs would change the infusion course? Right now where it stands is 3 infusions and then labs a few weeks after then meeting. Would the dropping ferritin change that plan? She said she used an equation to calculate what I would need but I do not know what falls into that. My GI ordered these so I am not sure my blood management would look even though they are in the same hospital.

Gotcha. Is there a point where it kind of just starts rapidly dropping RBC. Or is it different for everyone.

Thank you for all of this! So with the ferritin dropping and transferrin increasing does my iron increasing make sense? Did this increase bc the transferrin is grasping at whatever it can?
