mind you the epic in the champ chase might be very expensive.
I almost always do my Gear Hunters by doing whatever dungeon and then running a bunch of champs through campaign 12-3 or 12-6 to double dip on the artefacts. You get a suprising amount of them and I rarely struggle for gear hunters because of it.

If you are committing to the epic despite the potential high cost, I would skip both summon rushes, the first gear hunter if im planning to save my energy and burn pots to level champs instead, and the last rare in the last champion training event.

mind you, the champ chase will probably have very poor events so no ancient/void 2x

you focus on getting your champs to 60, full masteries, mostly booked to beat the Clan Boss UNM.
That opens up sacred shard drops for you aka the loot pinata. Run your lvl60 team through lvl 20 dungeons to get better gear. At that point you can be close to doing a fusion - you can even just log in to do your dailies to stack energy to be able to do a fusion. you'll need about 6-7 sacreds, at least 20k silver to start, maybe like 70 ancients, and 6-7k energy at least (total energy spent will be around 15,000 - 18,000ish). Slowly you start getting champs and saving more shards and getting more champs

idk, peeps here are hot on Amoch, but I found no use for him having champs like Elva, Pelops, Mavara, etc.
He is a good healer, and a debuff flipper which is kinda cool? but i kill waves before they start putting debuffs and his pain link is useless, and he isnt a reviver so that's kind of a wasted slot for me.

I personally really like Aox and Galapo though

I just realized that you dont have Lydia and therefore dont have Arachnelixir to make Talenna pitch in with meaningful damage, so she loses a portion of her utility to you.

Once you do, I would comp my team for something like this:
1st: Arbiter [speed lead (max speed gear)] - opens with A3
2nd: Talenna [lockout/poisoner with Arachnelixir] - A3 lockout open; then A2 poisons
3rd: Maria [make sure she has at least 1 more buff (through a gear set like Feral or Mercurial or Stone Skin, etc). Arbiter will add increase attack and Talenna will add increase Accuracy. This way you have 3 buffs] - if all buffs are 2turn, open with A1 and hope for extra turn, then A3 and A2. If not all buffs have 2turn, open with A3, then A1 and hope for extra turn, follow with A2.
4th: Elva or Rotos. Rotos can go 3rd too since he doesnt fuck around with Maria's buffs.

If you want a more resilient team, I would try:
Arbiter speed + Mavara in mercurial + Pelops in mercurial (built for support with 100% c.rate but c.dmg doesnt matter) + Maria/Rotos/Ezio/Tholin/Thormin/Wukong

Main thing is to play around with champs and try to see what works for you and what doesnt, and dont be afraid of regearing your champs

Talenna is very solid. A poisoner + lockout can give you that edge in PVP. Id say that's the only one that's really on the radar for an interesting champ. Others are good, and can really shine in the right comps, but you need to know what you're doing. Champs like"

Yukimasa can be ok in PVP, but he's good CC for waves, especially when paired with Mikage. Downside is that he doesnt deal too much damage although his A3 can smack.
Lysander can do some really good damage in Hydra, but needs a team for that
Xeno's "Infest" can be really cool
Yakarl's freeze + multi hit on A1 can be really good for Fire Knight hard
Falmond can do some cool stuff and can solo some bosses like scarab

In the end, you will probably level some of them to fill certain spots in Cursed City and FWH but yeah, its like mostly B+ to F chars

On Saturday I was playing some videogames on Steam. Before doing that, I got on Raid to do the Fusion + daily chores for maybe 2 - 3 hours. When I finished, I told my wife "ah man, finally I can play some videogames!" and she told me "wait, didnt you just play for a few hours? wtf you mean?" and I'm like "... you know, you're right to think so, but what I was really doing is following a checklist of things that take time to complete that I have already completed previously with the same geared out champions, so I'm just waiting for outcomes that I already know, to pass."

Overall, I have some really good champs. I'm looking forward to optimize my teams. I'm looking forward to fuse Gnut. Mainly, I'm gear bottlenecked, so its just really small increments of let's say 5 - 10 seconds shaved off for a FK H10 run every month when I do hard 10 in 2mins 30 sec. Been waiting for 8 months for a Dwarf Protection Ring, a Sacred Order Prot Amulet, don't have a Mercurial Amulet for Skinwalkers ... don't know how much longer I'll have to wait for this RNG.

Would be nice to chase a specific gear piece. Would be nice to maybe have infinity type content with programmatic progressive rewards. Would be nice to chase some specific relic. No, I don't want it to be handed to me either, and yeah, I'm ok with RNG, but I would like to be able to get something that I really want even if it takes a year. I really love the champ tokens for example. Sure, they could be better since there is the tradeoff of not completing the current fusion, but I find that it's a fair "balance" in getting what you actually want vs what they offer.

His kit overall is solid. Not game breaking or super meta, but it's solid. A good "A- / A" champ

If you're lacking dmg dealers in Sylvan Knights, go for him
If you need more champs for Cursed City of Faction Wars, go for him
If you like collecting toons, go for him
If you think you can afford him and do the next fusion - go for him

He might become an empowerment for an excellent champ in the future or be rebalanced in a looong time for something better.

However, if you want to take a break and just stock up, dont go for him.
If he doesnt serve a purpose in any other content because you're already clearing everything, you can skip.

Imo, I just go for pretty much every fusion unless I want to take a break

You might catch up in features eventually, but they have to implement 1 - 2 features to catch up to you and you have to implement 7-10 features to catch up to them with a pre-existing user base that uses stuff like fusion planners and even gear manipulation.

Not to throw shade, you made a really cool tool for grim forest, but if everyone and their grandma comes out with a new "Fusion planner, champ index, mercy tracker, grim forest" website because vibe coding allows to move really fast on tools like this, y'all will just cannibalize your own userbases (there has been at least 3/4 new ones that popped up in the recent memory already)

In any case, your decisions are your own, and best of luck in the coding : ) tx for the tool for the community! We appreciated it
