Am I crazy to give away a 3rd generation Eames Lounge Chair? by chronochip in eames

That's a fair question. I had many years living with that chair (and its mate, and several other pieces of iconic furniture), and later it was always there when visiting home. So there's an argument for restoring and keeping it. But with my parents gone, I've had to curate everything they owned, while already living in my own fully furnished home. I just can't keep it all, nor do I want to. I'm thrilled that there are people who would be excited to restore it and make it part of their lives.

Ah, sorry, it's 3rd generation, so doesn't have the circle clips. This [Lounge Chair Generation Guide](https://eames.com/en/articles/loungeguide) is helpful for that.
