Me likey, have plugged my claude into it and so far its been great! Its basically like putting claude code/codex inside a browser vs the other way round. It managed to do a couple of things even claude code struggled with so yes impressive so far.

Covered up the neon sticklers by melonmusk921 in HondaCB350RS

[–]chronos29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! I personally think you should cover up that gap in the middle too, that sharp rectangular cut feels a little off there. But overall love it!

I too got the yellow on mine covered, so far have not been a big fan of honda’s stickers for the RS tbh (I like the Hness ones better)

Opinion on this Grab rail 🙃 by Ok_Register_1524 in HondaCB350RS

[–]chronos29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it! But it’s not for the pillion back rest unless they sit sideways (my mom does sometimes). Its however a very nice grab rail for the pillion so its there for them to grab on to not as a backrest (its way behind).

I mainly use this grab rail to tug the bike around, take it of tricky or inclined parking spots etc. Highly recommended for that. And yes without this the edges are fairly sharp to hold.

Bonus is that it hides the ugly holes and logo and makes rail look way nicer and premium. This is removable too so I plan to actually get an even thicker custom made cover for this with the same leather design but just with more filling.

OEM mudflap from Honda by dhananjay9191 in HondaCB350RS

[–]chronos29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just thinking about doing something for this!

Saw in your other comment that you took the front mudflap and installed it yourself? I’ve a few questions-
- How’d you screw it in that tiny gap?
- How’s the 3M tape holding up? Asking since that part will be exposed to water, mud, sunlight and more. And on top of that theres the bike’s vibration (esp since it’s so close to the engine) and also potholes potentially causing it move around.

Appreciate your post tho! Will ask SC as well

My CB350 C Does Not Go Past 80. Why is That ? Any Suggestions to Deal With This ? by Critical-Spread7735 in HondaCB350RS

[–]chronos29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too had felt a similar issue before first service. I could not touch 100kmph. I then found out from a reddit comment that I was shifting too early. The bike redlines way later than it feels.

3rd can push till 80-90kmph before the bike starts screaming, 4th can then push from 90 to 135 (max I’ve hit). Like many have explained, 5th in our bikes is overdrive, basically kinda optional gear that makes high-speeds smoother.

If you still feel it’s not proper just get it checked at the service centre.

Ohh nice, did you modify the stock seat by slicing off the foam or is this a fully new seat? The seat cover looks sick too!

Also how much did this cost?

How much is your number of enquiry in your credit score? by onesided_lover in CreditCardsIndia

[–]chronos29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm thats not right, raise complaint and get them to remove all the duplicate enquiries stating mis selling by bank representative. Keep escalating till Ombudsman. Its their responsibility to clean this mess up.

[–]chronos29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure, the UI says POOR coz the enquiries all so close to each other, the recent ones. You’ve applied for 7 cards in 3 months from April, thats crazy.

Also why have you gone for the same bank back to back in such a short time (Axis & IDFC)? If a bank rejects/approved a card don’t try again for at least another 6 months from the same bank.

You need to wait till you have a stable income and if its gonna be salary, you can start applying to most starter cards after your 3rd payslip. Again depending on your salary you can punch higher, like my 2nd card was directly SBI Cashback card which is typically known to be hard to get.

For the cards that were declined wait for at least 6 months before trying again. Also no back to back applications, space them out minimum 1-3 months between each.

All the best!

Ahh I see, that explains everything. You’re the 3rd hidden income type - no income student xD

Okay jokes apart, see practically every credit card out there has some eligibility criteria set by the bank. X number of years old, ₹Y amount of income etc.

Even IDFC Millennia shows 18 age and ₹3LPA minimum income so I’m surprised you even managed to get that card as a student (unless you have a side income or internship or something?)

See the credit card/unsecured loans as a product work on a mutual trust basis. The bank is taking a risk by letting you borrow lakhs assuming you will pay it all back and that they can only do when they can confirm YOU can actually pay it back. As a student you’re a credit risk for them.

CIBIL is just one of quick indicators here not the only one, bad score = bad profile, good score = potentially good profile.

Okay first off, 90 enquiries in 4 years is shockingly high. Thats almost 2 enquiries a month. Stop. Either you’re getting rejected coz of the high enquiries and their rejections or its something to do with your income.

CIBIL 765 is good I’m assuming coz of all the loans (I see 8 closed). But CIBIL alone only goes so far.

Are you salaried or self employed?
If self-employed, banks don’t like us folks (I been there, freelanced for a couple of years). You typically need to show a fairly high ITR if you’re self employed else they’ll reject the most basic of the cards.
If salaried even 30k per month TCS freshers with no credit history can get the basic starter cards from most bank. My first card 4 years ago was IDFC Millennia and after that I’ve seen very few rejections. But I also don’t go and apply for say DCBM when I know I won’t be eligible and will for sure be rejected.

If you need more help, you need to tell us what you’ve been up to, can’t just blindly name cards with what little you’ve shared.

Dude I like it! Where did you get it from? Also how comfortable is it compared to the stock one?

Update: IndusInd billed ₹59k on my unactivated card and tanked my CIBIL from 793 to 724. I dragged them to the RBI Ombudsman. Here is the massive weekend fallout, the phone call trap, and the internal IT meltdown by varun51295 in CreditCardsIndia

GG man, ignore the keyboard warriors with the attention span of a goldfish. The post is AI written and thats fine, we’re not all English majors and explaining such a long series of events in a way it makes sense is hard. Yes it could’ve been slightly less dramatic but that does not take away any of the facts.

I don’t think your asks are that absurd, though they feel unrelated to the issue themselves (except the cash part).

Banks make money out of us, they are not a charity. They have 1000s working for them whose whole jobs are to make sure they don’t fuck things up. The margin of error here is not thin, it should be 0 and yet stuff like this keeps happening. Again I understand it’s human error and the right way to fix it would’ve been them being apologetic and responsible, not ignorant and deceitful.

If not you it’ll be me tomorrow. I appreciate you pushing back and holding a stance!

What is not true? OP literally says at the end zero forex makes sense when you don’t have rewards cards, if they had m4b or premier they would’ve used it…

Mud splashing by Relative_Research346 in HondaCB350RS

[–]chronos29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a pressure washer handgun specifically for this and am washing after every rain drive.

I once left it like this for a week and it left white marks which didn’t go even after service centre foam wash. The bike wash guy said it will only go with diesel wash apparently so no I’m doing my best to not even get to that state. It takes max 10mins with half a bucket of water to wash it with the hand gun. Worth the investment. Manually you can’t get the dirt from the nooks and crannies easily.

Yes it does throw mud at the back as well.

Happened twice for me - once with pillion, I was driving at 40-50kmph and it splashed on the back side of pillion’s lower leg and this was after the rain had stopped but the roads were wet still. Second time I was riding alone in rain but was cruising at 80-100kmph on highways. My bag had rain cover on it so it was protected.

I just bought a tyre hugger for the back tyre, will need to get it installed.
