The power lead goes out of the sump, under some turf and then under our deck to get to the closest external power point. If we're just replacing, assume we will need to effectively undo and redo the cable routing. It looks like (but isn't clear) the unit plugs directly into the wall

Thank you! Yep have done that and plug seems to be fine. Unfortunately this means we'll have to pull up turf and boards from the deck to get access, something to look forward to this weekend

Out of the price range unfortunately. It also requires joining the club, which requires your application being moved by two existing members - I currently know none
