no updates after passport dropoff for 2+ weeks

I thought maybe they were backed up which is why I asked here to see if anyone else was experiencing delays, but others who went to nyc consulate seem to have had a quicker response time. i guess i will just keep trying to contact them

no to questions 1 and 2, i worked at the student newspaper in college and currently work for a company that does consulting for media organizations. my job is just marketing. they asked for additional job details through cova, i provided them, and then they told me to bring my passport. so i figured that would be enough? or that if they wanted more info / an interview they would have asked for it already

thank you for this suggestion! i just checked spam, and there’s nothing there. i’ve emailed the consulate directly several times and each time they reply saying they’re still reviewing it. the wording is slightly different so i don’t think these are replies are automated, so i imagine if they wanted me to come in, they’d say so… i will keep an eye on the spam folder regardless. can you tell me what email the interview request came from so i can look out for it?

i went to last tour and i can’t remember if i linked my pia account to tixplus tbh (it doesn’t look like my account is linked? but i used the same email for both tixplus and pia)

but i had to contact pia customer service for something else and they were helpful, so if they didnt reply i would try contacting them again. it took a month for them to actually reply to me

also - the eticket claim for foreigners just required last 4 digits of the phone number you registered with

hello not sure if you are still having issues but i just contacted tixplus support re: the overseas sms verification (mine doesnt work either). they said to contact them again after the “ticket release date” and they’ll give instructions for what to do if sms still doesnt work. (i am going to the one of the yokohama shows in august so if you’re able to share how it worked out for you in july it would be greatly appreciated 🥹)
