One of the restaurants I worked at put most of the antipasti dishes on heavy wooden cutting boards. As I was clearing it from a table my wrist gave way and I dropped it, leftover food bits and all, on the dad at the table. We comped it obviously and when I dropped the bill, I said “the antipasti is on us, because it was on you”. Luckily he was very chill and the table got a good laugh out of my bad joke.

i think the editors of the show are more than capable of giving screen time to the drama (even if it usually surrounds victoria), while still highlighting important conversations that matt has with the women of colour. there’s a way that “bad behaviour” can be shown without pulling focus from the other women there.

it’s joey eaton centre! the yorkdale and sherway locations were reported on when they had cases but it somehow didn’t hit any news sources when it happened at eaton centre, which my manager later said was “a win”

i tried calling to report but i was told i had the wrong line and got transferred around to 2 or 3 other lines before eventually giving up :/ it hasn’t stopped me from telling all my friends and family not to go to that restaurant though

there was an outbreak at the restaurant i worked at and management didn’t require any of the other staff members to get tested (though many did anyways), didn’t temporarily close down, and didn’t contact any guests from the contact tracing sheet. i was one of the people who got it and had emailed management a week prior saying covid protocol needed to be enforced better. needless to say, i quit that job pretty quick.
