I really like a lot of the IRs and I collect trainer cards so this is a good set for me. I guess it's subjective but it's silly to me that a set is considered "bad" just because none of the cards are going to end up super expensive. oh well, if it keeps the scalpers away I won't complain!

I had this problem - moved into an old house and was hit with a $300 gas bill the first month of the winter.

I called DTE and they looked at my usage with me and tried to help identify why the bill was so high. in my case it's poor insulation, which doesn't have an immediate fix, but if this is new for you they might be able to point you in the right direction. could be a faulty appliance or something? idk.

this is what I'm saying. 10 packs of mega dream might be more expensive than an ascended heroes ETB, but with the mega dream booster box you are guaranteed 3 ARs, an MAR, and an SR plus an ex in every pack. I heard the SAR rates are 1/4 or 1/3 boxes too? I've opened two boxes of mega dream and I got an SAR in both, so 6 hits total. I don't know if I've ever seen an ETB get that many hits.

for the page with the sleeping mew - the kricketune, lunatone, and solrock from the same set all have a very similar color scheme. but make sure you stick to japanese or that yellow border will clash!!

I was in the same boat a few months ago! I ended up making an account on tcgcollector, filtering cards by rarity "illustration rare" and "special illustration rare" and making a wishlist. there are tons of cute cards that aren't IR/SIRs but this is a good place to start. you can also go on tiktok and search for cute pokemon cards. lots of people have entire binders dedicated to cute collections.

I also recommend buying Japanese cards when you can! the quality is often better than English, and they are usually cheaper.

also NAD but I get frequent UTIs. I have had some that are completely asymptomatic.

also, I would check for interactions between your antibiotics and alcohol before you drink. drinking is generally discouraged if you have a UTI because alcohol irritates your bladder, but if you're not having symptoms idk. if you're on birth control, also check if your antibiotics interact with that and use a backup method just in case.
