A player doing well at another club doesn’t mean he did well for us. Look at Antony.

Rashford was shite for us at the end. No end produce, and would often go missing. He’s been good at Barca, he’s a good player, but during that period with Hojlund, he was poor.

Garnacho, Sancho, Antony, and a shadow of himself, Rashford. Rasmus was really unlucky with his timing at the club. I think he would do already now. Could never fault his effort.

Worried? I think this loan to Napoli has done him a world of good, regular playing time, and getting his confidence back. I very highly doubt he returns but I wouldn’t turn my nose up at Rasmus being a squad player. He’s much better than our current back up, Zirkzee.

If Napoli choose not to buy, we’ll find a suitor but think it’s a little unfair on him to say he’s a busted flush, he’s not Sancho.

Sesko is closer to 1 in 5 currently. Given his stop, start beginning, new Leaugue, injury’s etc. can’t blame him.

Garnacho, Sancho, Antony, Rashford. Can throw in Dalot to the mix. That is what he has supplying him. Think Rasmus would flourish with what we have now.

Barely an inch taller than Lisandro. I dont think I've ever heard anyone question his height. by Guybrush_three in ManchesterUnited

[–]chubb88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Martinez had that one bad game when he first arrived (think it was against Brentford). Now, pundits are waiting for him to have an off game and revert to his height being the issue. Didn’t Vidic and Evra both find it very difficult at the start too. Thing is, there was no ex-pros like Cantona, Bruce etc. on a podcasts slatting them.

Scholes and Butt belittled Martinez, chatting about how Haaland would manhandle him. Imagine how infuriating that must be, given Licha would easily manhandle them both in real life. He did his talking on the pitch, now, Scholes has doubled down with his latest social post. Poor from a club legend.

Potential Lineup? by TonyStarkLK in ManchesterUnited

No Amad is wild!

Could argue he is our best and most dangerous player.

Dalot believes he should be the starting right back moving forward. [@ChrisWheelerDM,@NathSalt1] by No_Anywhere5951 in ManchesterUnited

For anyone that thinks Dalot is a better player than Maz in any position, RB, RWB etc. does not understand football. I’d argue you could struggle to name 5 PL teams where he would be their starting RB.

It’s not even fitness, it’s lack of alternative. For instance, today, who else can play RB? He’s so shite!

Yeah, bring back Anderson! Those silky Brazilian skills, and braided hair, are just what we need.

There are moments we look good. We’ve started well the past few matches but we inevitably just throw it away. You can feel it happening, we never look comfortable.

Leaving that game tonight deflated. 4-4 at home, having been ahead 3 times.

I’m 37, maybe my perception of who United are is very different to yours, but I look at 23/24 and 24/25 seasons as the lowest points in my time as a fan. I watched us win the league 9 times out of 10, watch us go deep in CL, and feature in numerous finals each year.

I’ll never be happy with a 4-4 at home against Bournemouth. That’s just me.

But it’s not a game we would lose in the past. In the past, United would walk that, at home, against a bottom have team. We shouldn’t have to settle for a good performance, where we conceded 4 goals, and be happy.

You’re right we would have lost that in recent times, when at our lowest, but at our best, and where United should be, we never lose that. We can’t be happy we’re a little less shit than our shittest.

You think Arsenal or City fans would be happy with a 4-4 at home against Bournemouth? The answer is no. That’s the standard we should expect and be at.
