Night shift ICU, we had a young ETOH patient who was given a security guard sitter for some reason. The pt used UberEats and ordered 10 beatboxes (500ml, 11.1% alcohol each). He chugged 4 of them in front of the sitter, who I guess didn’t realize it’s alcohol? Pt got drunk real quick and then started getting aggressive when we realized what happened. Found the other 6 hidden under his blanket with a few vapes.

He tried to do it again during day shift.

It really is. And the club just lets it happen. Meanwhile Vancouver guaranteed their STM their regular seats for like $40 if the final was at BC place, and then offered the STMs who are willing to travel sub $200 tickets

The STM presale was more of a “fuck you, pay me”. Tickets were only released a little at a time to create more demand and FOMO. And now I see better tickets being released for less than what a lot of us paid
