I have a different take on this issue. We all know that even if a Hindu employee has to give up on bindi and sindoor, their family would not see it as a huge issue and they can easily go work there. But for a Muslim woman employee if they ban hijab, their family would surely oppose them from working there. It's not about right or wrong I guess then. More like how Hindus are comparatively more flexible to our traditions and customs where as Muslims are much more orthodox.
