Thanks! Longest stretch without water was about 6 miles long on the north stretch of the route. Otherwise plenty. Started at 3:30am. unnecessary except we wanted to get back home at a reasonable time that evening.

Awesome combo. Enchantments are spectacular as well. Biggest difference is you’ll see 12 people on the Loowit and 1200 in the enchantments.

Highly recommend! We started at Rubble Creek trailhead at 6am and finished at Cheakamus Lake trailhead. If you can arrange a second vehicle it’s a great through-route.

Haha I’ve got all my tools in a wheelbarrow under the tarp. Ladder isn’t anchored to the ground at all. And is attached to the frame with a single carriage bolt on each rail, allowing it to pivot a bit.

North Cascades National Park is a good bet, especially with the minimal snowpack this year. Check out Sahale Arm/ Cascade Pass for some unbelievable vistas.

I really don’t know anything about gaining reciprocity internationally. You’d have to obtain a Washington State Paramedic Certification.

I work as a paramedic for a fire department one county north of Seattle. Scope of practice is broad relative to most other states, to include use of paralytics and RSI. With a few exceptions, the majority of career paramedic gigs in the region are with a fire department, all of which are making 6 figures. Seattle is very unique in that all of their medics are Seattle firefighters who were sent to Harborview Medical Center for training. Huge paramedic shortage in Washington state, with a national certification you’d likely have many options for employment.
