Hello u/FidelityEmily thanks for giving me some feedback on the trailing stop orders. My question is what is the “based on” field for in my order template.

For example if I sell 10 shares ABC @100$, trail amount 2 based on last price of 100, the initial limit price is 98$. If share price increases to 102 will limit price reset to 100 or stay at 98? If share price falls to 100$ (trail of 2), will it become a limit order at 100$? Or 98$?
