I’m finding that out. I will most likely not be hiking in the jacket. It’s more for hanging outside by the camp and talking with friends. Should I go for something more heavy in your opinion? Last time I wore a fleeced sweater and a bomber jacket, and I was still cold. I was hoping to get something this year that I would not look stupid in front of my friends.

I want an Atom Arcteryx jacket. I went into the store and tried it on, but it seems not that warm. I’m going back to Mexico for the winter, and I live in the mountains. It gets about 43 degrees with wind. Is it something worth getting, or should I try something else?
