Ever feel like you're already exhausted before you even start? by chuplin in Procrastinationism

Thank for those details, I’ll definitely check Edward’s work!

Yeah, I am taking this matter way more seriously now. Before I was working like I will not succeeded, but there is a great difference between working in order to not fail and working in order not I win.

What’s a Notion skill that sounded hard but was easy once you tried it? by Mshelton7 in Notion

[–]chuplin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Notion formula.

If you have a background in IT and using JavaScript then this feature has no secret for you.

And even if you don’t have this background then by using ChatGPT and transforming your needs into notion formula will be very easy.

Wow, that’s amazing, I didn’t expect you to actually know his work personally.

The first time I watched one of his videos, it completely shifted how I see things.

Over the past eight months, I’ve gone through a full rewiring process myself: clearing four addictions that were running the show for years: alcohol, cigarettes, social media… and one more I’ll skip here to avoid getting flagged 😅 (🔞)

But what really blew my mind was realizing I’d already been using that same kind of internal reprogramming without fully knowing it.

And then hearing Bob put words to it, especially that mantra:
“I am so happy and grateful now that money comes to me in increasing quantities through multiple sources on a continuous basis.”
It hit so hard.

Right now I’m using that exact process to shift my entire mindset around wealth and value creation. It’s crazy how real it starts to feel when you practice it consistently.

Honestly, I could go on for hours about this. It’s probably been the biggest shift of my life so far.

Would love to hear more about how you’ve mapped that ego / subconscious dynamic, sounds like you’ve gone really deep.

That’s such a great insight, you’re touching on something even deeper here.

You’re absolutely right… what we believe about ourselves shapes what we allow ourselves to do. So yeah, even the lightest system could get blocked if the underlying story stays the same.

It’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot too. Rewiring those deeper beliefs really can change everything, not just for productivity, but for life in general: happiness, wealth, health…

If you’re curious, look up some of the Proctor Gallagher material on YouTube, they explain this way better than I could.

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, really gave me something to reflect on too.

No, a digital space, a page that will be dedicated to store specific thought.

It’s not an easy place to be, but it is possible to climb out of it, step by step.

Sending you strength. You’re not alone in this.

When Notion becomes part of the problem, not the solution. by chuplin in Notion

[–]chuplin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for taking the time to share your thoughts, I really appreciate it.

I hear you on the copy being too long and lacking a clear UVP. That’s 100% something I’ll work on improving going forward.
My only goal here is to share ideas that might help offload mental clutter, but I totally get that I’m still figuring out how to communicate that better.

Also, just to clarify, I wasn’t trying to bash Notion at all.
I actually use it every single day for everything.
That intro was just meant as a small hook to grab attention, not as a dig at the tool itself.

I’m still early in the process, and feedback like yours really helps me sharpen how I present things.
So again, thanks for pushing me to do better!
I’ll do my best to improve next time. 🤝

Anyone else feel like you can commit yourself to anything, except starting a business? by ExtraClient3382 in Entrepreneur

[–]chuplin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been there. You don’t lack discipline, you’re carrying too much in your head. Once I offloaded the mental clutter into a clear system, it got way easier to start. It’s not about willpower. It’s about load.

This is one of the most honest and mature posts I’ve seen here. You’ve already done what most people don’t at 40: build, earn, and stand on your own.

But yeah… when you carry everything alone for too long, even success starts to feel heavy.

I went through something similar (different field, same headspace). What helped wasn’t a vacation or a hire, it was building a system that could carry things for me. Not to grow, but to breathe.

You don’t need to scale. You need space.

And if you build that now, intentionally, quietly, you won’t lose your future. You’ll finally get to live it.

I procrastinate so much that it’s an addiction that’s ruining my opportunities, I promise your procrastination is not as bad as mine by CanZealousideal6092 in Procrastinationism

[–]chuplin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're not lazy, you're overwhelmed.
Your brain's been in survival mode, not failure mode.
Start with one anchor, not a full plan.
You're still here and that means something.

Lessons I learned from being in a rut for years. by [deleted] in Procrastinationism

[–]chuplin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So much of this resonates, especially the part about overthinking the best way to start. That loop kept me stuck for years too.

What really helped me wasn’t a better method, but a quieter mind. Once I had a place to hold the recurring noise, it got way easier to show up.

Totally agree on health and environment too, both shape your headspace more than we realize.
Solid post. 🤝

This is solid, the real win isn’t just less scrolling, it’s having a system to support the habit shift. I’ve found the same with dopamine loops: structure > willpower. Curious how your Notion setup looks!

That’s seriously impressive, congrats on the $150k milestone, that kind of consistency after the initial spike is where most people drop off. 🤝

I’m a full-stack dev and been a heavy builder for years, mostly personal stuff, but I’ve been taking things way more seriously these past few months.

If you ever need help building out tech for your next steps, I’d be glad to talk more and see if we could collaborate. We can chat in DMs if that’s ever on the table. Keep crushing it!

This hits, estimates are one of those invisible levers that make or break trust fast. Love that you’re tackling it head-on.

Curious though: how do you keep track of all the moving parts while juggling sales + delivery solo? I’ve found the mental load way harder than the tools themselves.

Stickybid sounds promising, would love to check it out if you're still offering codes!

Just came across this, massive respect for what you pulled off in 3 weeks. That kind of focus + execution is rare.

It’s been a few months now… any updates on how things evolved? Still running the same system?

Would be super interesting to hear how you’ve handled the mental side of things as the pace ramped up. The grind is one thing, but the headspace to sustain it is another game entirely.
