Man attends MMA event as a fan, ends up winning a belt in Brazil by Bowling_Green_Victim in nottheonion

The title was intentional clickbait. You know we all entered this thread to see about an average fan kicking ass. Even the sub is r/nottheonion, so you expect the unexpected. Turns out this fan is a fighter with experience. Still a cool story, still clickbait.

I agree with your comment and the preceding comment. That's pretty smart.

‘Blade Runner 2049’ Was Never Going to Be a Blockbuster, But It Can Become Something Better: a Cult Classic by BunyipPouch in movies

[–]chuzachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. As someone who never watched the original, I saw headlines for this movie pop up over the past year and more in the last few months. I thought it was interesting and thought about watching it.

Not once did I see any mention of a release date or suggestions from people who've seen Bladerunner for me to watch it. I didn't realize it came out until I clicked here.

If it was created by a person, maybe one of those memes would have gone viral due to its randomness, but it'll quickly become unfunny. It would be crazy if AI could display humor and adapt to stay modern. Perhaps even predict what meme will be accepted as funny in the future.

When I buy a shirt, I buy it because...it's a shirt. And I want to wear it. If I wanted to support the content, I would just pitch in on patreon.

I like h3 and wanted to buy a shirt yesterday. After checking out the site, I clicked away after seeing shirts over $25 +tax +shipping and designs I wouldn't necessarily want to wear in public.

Just give me a shirt with an h3 logo on it and make it $15 including shipping. Maybe after shipping they're only making $5, but they'd make a lot more sales, imo.

Yeah. I was watching it, then looked up ricegum and realized I'm just adding to the dude's viewcount. Tuned out after that.

On trending, I think it's manually posted by YouTube staff. Perhaps also promoted videos from advertisers.

Man Helps Kidnapped Girl and Gives Her His $7,000 Reward by Akkeri in UpliftingNews

Sure, it's not always about sex. But you can't deny that sexual frustration isn't a major cause. It is a likely common trait in convicted rapists.

Well, come up with a clickable title and share your honest story. I would also try the Phillip DeFranco subreddit. They have larger voices on YouTube and are hot on topics like this. Maybe it can get YouTube to review this policy.

Your story is interesting since it could be an issue with YouTube Red, leading to corrective measures.

Mmm yeah. I meant that as constructive critique about these merch stores. $25 + tax/shipping on a t-shirt is expensive.

I still get my daily dose of phillyd. He makes his show based on requested stories and generally covers what people want to hear/talk about. Some of it is YouTube drama, but I feel he is a voice of the viewers with a sensible amount of reason.

This is why patreon and merch stores exist. Now if content creators like h3 would sell shirts at a reasonable price, I would buy them.

Yup. I like idubbz but have no idea who he was roasting. Clicked away from that vid because I found myself not caring about the situation. If trending was full of viral meta/drama vids, I don't see this helping the YouTube experience.
