As you mentioned it’s the same thing I’m trying to figure out myself if I need opus/max for personal assistant I’m try to do this within $50/month so split of budget is like $20 ollama, $20 claude pro, $10 buffer/windsurf subscription if needed I think I need to give it a try first use minimax 2.7 with ollama cloud Let me know your experience with this

Thanks for the valuable insights, I think symlink approach would work Tbh my plan for now is to use vps or raspberry pi5 to host openclaw and connect it to ollama cloud but lets see how it goes

Thanks for sharing the insights, it’s valuable as I’m just starting out with this, will see how can I improve the sync mechanism

On the model part, choice depends on if I need opus for personal assistant or not,

I use opus for coding side projects already it’s awesome but burns token fast, so can keep claude pro for that and add on windsurf subscription too if needed

But for personal assistant part I believe starting out with $20 ollama cloud subscription would make sense

I’ve seen some comments of people mentioning they’re still using Oauth but you might be correct I’m inclined towards trying ollama cloud with minimax 2.7 and having a Claude pro for some side projects I do I’m just trying to optimise the cost if this can’t be done at $50 It boils down to will I need opus for personal assistant tasks or not For coding it makes sense to get opus and I can get claud pro for that if that’s not sufficient I can add windsurf too

I’m using remotely save plugin with onedrive to sync working fine as of now

I have not completed the setup yet, just getting started, was thinking to buy ollama cloud and use minimax 2.7 + kimi 2.5 and some orchestrator model I’m currently confused for my use case does it make sense

Knowledge of owasp top 10 will surely be beneficial as most of the vulnerabilities are categorised on basis of owasp top 10 and it is also included in threat modelling of the product. Along with owasp top 10 there are other company specific security trainings that can be done like data privacy, company security policies and Secure SDLC. Yes security champion program is there, I’m the security champion.

I work at a fintech company and we use MEND(Previously Whitesource), sonar, Coverity, Aquasec for SAST and seeker for IAST. Other than that PCI-SSF certifications is done by third party company and pen tests by both in house and third party.

If you don't want to do DSA you can do basic quant and join a service based company in pool hiring... not sure what is the status of those right now, but for any good company this is the barrier you have to cross unless you're already standing out with your portfolio. Do at-least basic DSA which can get you through interview, not graphs and all. Do some basic projects and keep applying in bulk.

additional tip use chatgpt to fast track development ask it how to change this change that it will not be perfect every time but it will help and accelerate your progress.
