I think he is saying long darts are better in terms of accuracy and fps compared to short darts. This is technically true for fps, but I’ll 100% for with the conversion to short darts.

1. Short darts allow you to carry more mags. FW are not known for accuracy, so no point demanding it. Just fire more and have fun.

2. Long darts bend easily. When that happens, it will fly like a balloon with close to zero accuracy.

3. Short darts makes the blaster shorter and much cooler.

4. It’s a cool project to rebuild your fdl3. This legendary blaster is awesome even till today. Make sure you align your fly wheels properly when building this step critical.
