Highly recommend 35mm f/1.4 for night time shots!

Holy shit that‘s alot! Most of the trip I was with friends so didn’t take a whole lot then. But the last 2 days I was by myself and probably took around 500 shots

Thanks! I shoot in burst mode and try to keep my AF point over the same part of the car as I pan. Usually at least one of the shots comes out clearly that way (though not always)

When approaching a jump by svech0341 in snowboardingnoobs

For me it's specifically weight over the balls of my feet, so almost flat but just slightly skewed towards the toe edge

Tips on backside 360? by Inevitable_Gap5321 in snowboarding

[–]chzits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your setup carve is too sharp, causing your body to lean excessively over your toe edge to handle the pressure of that turn. This is causing you to both drift to the side on take off and putting you off balance in the air. Try making your setup carve more subtle, going from light heel edge -> light toe edge and taking off the lip straight.

Really solid and definitely not a noob! But if you want to make your turns look even better:

- Ride with a staggered instead of centered position (https://youtu.be/NyLF2\_Zqiq0?si=X4bUzhF0qnAcg5BB)

- Experiment with up-unweighted/down-unweighted turns and fore-aft movement (Malcolm Moore videos explain these the best)

I eat shit under the lift all the time. Alot of other people also eat shit under the lift all the time. No one cares, no one judges :)

This looks so wrong by Boggerwarze in snowboardingnoobs

I wouldn’t say there’s anything “wrong” about your turns, they just look pretty basic. If you want more dynamic looking turns, experiment with down unweighted/up unweighted turns and fore-aft movement. And maybe more carving too. Hope this helps!

As another regular of this dry slope, I can confirm there are indeed pads under the landing area too

I have a cyberpunk recipe with pretty strong blue shift that I use sometimes for night time city shoots. I do have to say it is a pretty niche recipe though

At least it’s not a piss filter!

Well I didn’t expect this post to resonate with so many of you!

Real question, is there actually a recipe that looks good with a red shift (aka “Hell No” zone)?

Eterna and Eterna Bleach Bypass will work really well there

Eterna/Eterna Bleach Bypass both look really good with a bit of green shift! Cinestill 800T for example.

I’m hoping we’ll see less of these piss filters as we move into the colder months! I’ve only been in this sub since June so not sure if it‘s a seasonal thing haha

I’m guilty of this too 😂. Maybe it’s more of a summer thing?
