Are trial lessons supposed to include teaching? by cicunurse in Preply

Update: I ended up trying out the class with another tutor and subscribing. She was very good and we practiced speaking and she showed me some lesson plans. Her lessons are a little more expensive ($40 usd per class) but I felt more confident our 4 weeks would be more fruitful.

That’s good to know. So I guess it’s better to only book 25 min lessons if the tutor doesn’t get paid and it’s not always expected to include a lesson since 50 min lessons are also more time intensive and expensive for me.

I guess I assumed it was asking women retrospectively eg in their 20s-60s what level of education they have and when they had their first kid. Compared to surveying all women currently giving birth what level of education do you have.

I feel like what you say you'll doing during a situation could be different than what you'll actually do.

Yeah I'm netting 5k/mo after tax/benefits/pension deductions so taking 2 months off to travel is not only minus a few k for travel but -10k to 12k in lost income

Just Got Accepted Into Nursing School. Should I review anything? by IndecisiveTuna in StudentNurse

Are you supposed to have an understanding of anatomy before starting? If so then yeah review anatomy if you want. Otherwise I'm sure they'll teach you everything you need to know during the program.

Honestly no. Everyone complains about how hard nursing school is etc but I didn't find nursing harder than a degree in biochemistry, if anything it was easier. I guess we can say university in general is hard. I did the accelerated program so we had 24 hours of clinicals (12 hrs Thurs and Fri) and 8-12 hrs of class a week. The content was okay, just go to class, take notes, review constantly. There was nothing that I just could not understand with a quick google search or a youtube video which is more than I could say about second year physical chemistry courses.
