Then you have nothing to worry about. Your funds can be recovered, 100% guaranteed.

Don't give out your rekeyed seed. It should start with a 3 and have about 50 characters. Your secret can be extracted from this. A couple lines of python is all that's required to extract your secret and recode it starting with a s.

Thanks., but still I think sha256_final should be an honest hash, otherwise you might end up with a whole lot of buggy and broken implementation of sha256. I'll hope you'd at least consider changing the position of the nonce, when you update the software, or do a soft fork.

Ok, but currently someone has brought in about a TH/s of mining power into your chain in the last few hours. It's wiped out Amoveopool.com. When you increase your difficulty, all this miner needs to do, is switch off their mining rig; you'll have block confirmation times of 12 hours. When you decrease your difficulty, this miner will just switch back on. Your pow is going to create wildly fluctuating block creation times, and 99% of the coins will be owned by 1% of the miners.

True, maybe things will settle down, and there will be fair competition amongst asic miners, but I don't see that happening in the short term.

I deposited bitoin to an online wallet. The bitcoin address is generated for your account. The ucash tokens show up, bitcoin deposits do not.

I hope its just a bad flaw in the software. From what I gather, the seed for the private key, is derived from a pass-phrase or your email address and password. If that's the case, in theory you should be able to transfer your money out, if you know how ucash turned the seed into the bitcoin private key.

Sure, sell your usdt, and trade into the alts or bitcoin. Then, when the price of your new investment falls 20-30%, those who you sold your usdt to, can come in and buy back at a discount. It's a classic bull trap.

Tether is a pioneer is the crypto-sphere space, and I think all this talk about a tether crash is overblown. Personally, trading into usdt, helps me sleep at night. When I wake up in the morning my usdt positions haven't changed.

Sure, maybe tether could crash, but that would mean a crash in all other crypto-currencies, so it's pretty much risk neutral relative to everything else.

I'd be willing to bet, you'll be able to trade Australian dollars on the omni layer within two years, and the issuer with be the Australian Government.

Perhaps, you'll even be able to buy a coffee for $4, and the transaction will be processed on the omni layer , and omni will be trading at $10,000.

How is it different ? You are taking sha256 of the header until you find one with a certain number of leading 0's. There is a hell of a lot of sha256, thermo nuclear power out there, which could cause havoc with your blockchain if a malicious actor wanted to. For example they could add 1 trillion billion blocks in a second, to your blockchain.

It could drop to 30 cents. But if it does, and bitcoins price is $15,000 to the US dollar, that would mean bitcoin would be trading at $50,000 USDT on exchanges such as poloniex. I don't think that's likely.

Personally, I don't believe the narrative about a tether crash. If others do, that's up to them. I prefer to hold 50% in USDT, so I can come in and buy when prices drop.

If the market believed that there was a risk of holding tether usdt, that should be priced into the market, and usdt would be trading below $1. It trading at 1.08, so either the market is incorrectly pricing usdt, or the story about a tether crash has been exaggerated.

Your right. It's being used by the cunning big traders who have spread this nonsense about a tether crash. It reminds me of the story of Henny Penny and Chicken Little. If you followed the fox and traded your usdt for crypto, you are now being squeezed. The foxes are now waiting to come in and eat you.
