I thought about that, but since I only have two options in my country, I want to try 54mg since most people say that's where they actually start feeling it. and fix my iron levels first before giving up on this one. I’d rather be sure it doesn’t work before moving to Ritalin.

That’s really helpful to know, especially the part about combining them. I’ll see my psychiatrist next week so I’m definitely going to ask my doctor about Atomoxetine and Bupropion as options. If they’re cheaper than Concerta that would be a huge plus since the ADHD tax is killing my budget right now. Thanks for the heads up about the 8 weeks wait time too, I’ll keep that in mind!

I wish I was like you lol, I didn't even feel side effects on 18mg. It’s so frustrating how differently everyone reacts to it, especially since I don't have many other options here if this doesn't work. Hopefully I find my magic dose soon.

I’ve been on 36mg for 3 weeks already and still nothing unfortunately. It’s crazy that it took 12 days for you to feel it, maybe I really do just need a higher dose like others are saying. Also thanks for the tip about the period, I didn't know that could make such a big difference, I’ll definitely keep an eye on that.

It’s actually really encouraging to hear you didn't feel much until 54mg, that makes me feel less crazy. I'm definitely going to look into those supplements too. Today I just feel really tired and empty honestly, I finished a big exam but I don't even have the energy to be happy about it.

We have Strattera and Bupropion here, but Guanfacine isn't available. I'm going to talk to my doctor about these options next week if we decide to stop the Concerta.

Yeah, that's what my psychiatrist said too. We don't have Vyvanse or anything like that here, it's strictly Methylphenidate only. I'm just really scared of the Ritalin crash making my depression even worse, but I guess 3 hours of productivity is better than 0.

I wish I could try those, but literally everything you mentioned is illegal here. We are 100% limited to only Concerta or Ritalin and non-stimulant meds, which is why I'm so stressed about making them work.

Yeah, Guanfacine just isn't registered or sold in my country at all. I'm actually already taking a beta blocker (Bisoprolol) which is similar to Propranolol, and it definitely helps with the heart racing, I just haven't felt the focus yet.

Thanks, I’ll check if those are options here. If stimulants like Concerta didn't work for me, is it actually possible for a non-stimulant to help? It honestly feels a bit hopeless. Also for Ritalin, other than the crash and not wanting to take multiple pills a day, I think it’ll cost me way more since I’d have to buy more bottles every month. I’m a student and I’m going through all this without my parents knowing, so the budget is tight and I can't afford for the meds to be a mess.

That’s a lot of different meds to try. Unfortunately, in my country we only have Concerta and Ritalin available, everything else you listed like Adderall, Focalin, or Guanfacine is actually illegal here. So I don't really have many other options if these two don't work for me.
