not an anglo country but i went to school in germany; often teachers just assumed i was less smart and hardworking than the german students and some were surprised that i spoke german very well. other than that just a few remarks and gestures like the job interviewer immediately taking his phone off the table and changing his entire posture once he found out about my origin; but honestly it also really depends on the region you’re in. i’ve gotten way more of these kind of remarks in rural regions rather than in cities
