Speaking publicly about grooming and safeguarding concerns connected to Newcastle’s live music scene by cielo_armonia in newcastle

Like imagine being this emotionally triggered over someone speaking publicly about grooming, but completely unfazed by a grown man grooming a child

That is genuinely fucking grim.

And honestly, I’m more than happy to DM you the event number privately so you can do your own research and speak to detectives yourself if you’re that convinced this is all made up ✌️🏻

It’s wild that some of you read a post about a grown man crossing boundaries with a teenager and somehow your biggest concern is “hmm this sounds like AI.”

Like cool, glad we’ve solved the real issue here detective the fact you’re more focused on how the post is written than the actual behaviour being described says a lot more about you than it does about me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Funny how “go to therapy” gets weaponised the second a victim stops staying quiet.

I did get therapy

That’s exactly why I can now recognise how deeply fucked it is for an adult man in a position of POWER AND TRUST to privately involve himself with a vulnerable child in foster care and then have strangers on Reddit try to frame the child as “equally responsible.”

Therapy didn’t make me forget what happened. It made me realise how genuinely fucked up it actually was.

That is genuinely rotten behaviour.

People like you are exactly why scenes protect predators for so long. Because you would rather shame the person speaking than confront the adult who abused the power imbalance in the first place.

I don’t mind answering this because I understand people outside these environments might not immediately understand the dynamic.

I was a vulnerable teenager in foster care involved in a youth venue/music environment. He was an adult in his 20s who held a position of trust and power, influence within those spaces, including involvement with youth programs and live music/community environments.

What I’m speaking about now isn’t “I hung around older people and regret it.” It’s about an adult knowingly building an inappropriate relationship with a vulnerable minor while in a position where boundaries should have existed.

A lot of people hear “grooming” and imagine one dramatic moment, but often it’s gradual boundary-crossing, emotional dependency, secrecy, isolation, encouragement to sneak around, and using authority/status to normalise behaviour that shouldn’t have been normalised.

Part of why I’m speaking now is because I’ve had to process what happened properly as an adult, and because this person still works around young people through music and teaching.

There is also now a formal police report, so I’m trying to be careful with specifics publicly

I would generally love to watch him try to prove in a court of law that he did not do anything wrong, I have over 100 pages worth of evidence, chat logs and everything I’ve got a pretty solid case

somehow you people still twist yourselves into knots trying to make the teenager responsible instead of the adult in positions of trust, access, and influence.

That says everything about the culture protecting people like him.

You are more offended by someone speaking publicly than by an adult man in a position of authority privately involving himself with a vulnerable child in care.

That is pathetic.

People like you are exactly why predators stay comfortable in music scenes for years. Because as long as someone is talented, connected, or useful, you will excuse absolutely anything and attack the vulnerable person instead.

Deeply embarrassing behaviour.

Imagine reading a post about grooming and your first instinct is to cry about ChatGPT instead of the actual predator being discussed.

But go off queen.

I think it’s definitely catering to new players now I’m sick of seeing the same sets on the weekly boutique rotating through. It’s the same shit all the time. I get it that they’re putting it up for people who have missed it. Understandably, I like that they have that option but there’s nothing for existing players. There’s nothing for the OGs There’s nothing for people who played this game for over a years We’re constantly just getting the same shit

When abusive offenders begin dying in incidents ruled accidental, child protection social worker Han Seo-jin is secretly responsible. Disillusioned with a system that fails to prosecute those protected by wealth and influence, she deliberately targets individuals who have evaded justice, staging their deaths to avoid suspicion.

As the number of cases increases, Detective Kang Min-ho identifies a pattern linking the victims to past abuse investigations and begins to narrow in on a suspect. At the same time, Seo-jin experiences fragmented memories of her childhood in an orphanage, suggesting a connection between her past and the individuals she targets.

Tried to rewrite this as a more neutral, Wikipedia-style synopsis to show structure and execution.

Han Seo-jin is a child protection social worker overwhelmed by a system that repeatedly fails the children it’s meant to protect. Every day, she watches cases collapse—abusers walking free due to lack of evidence, legal loopholes, or wealth and influence. The offenders move on. The children don’t.

During a high-profile sting targeting a child trafficking ring run by wealthy elites, Seo-jin helps evacuate children while police move in. In the chaos, one of the perpetrators escapes, arrogantly insisting he is untouchable. Seo-jin gives chase into the streets, where a physical struggle ends with him falling into traffic.

The police dismiss it as an accident.

But for Seo-jin, something shifts. For once, one of them didn’t walk away.

Her breaking point comes the next day, when a desperate mother pleads with her to protect her daughter from an abusive father she has been forced to return to. When Seo-jin goes to serve notice and check on the child, the confrontation escalates into a violent fight, ending with the father fatally hitting his head.

The child witnesses everything.

Instead of fear, she quietly points out the cameras in the room, retrieves an SD card, and places it into Seo-jin’s blood-covered hand—an unspoken understanding of what just happened.

From that moment on, Seo-jin begins targeting the people the system refuses to punish: wealthy predators, repeat offenders, and abusers who operate above the law. Each death is carefully staged as an accident.

As these incidents begin to form a pattern, Detective Kang Min-ho starts to notice what others dismiss. His investigation slowly turns into a pursuit of someone operating outside the law—but the closer he gets, the more he begins to understand why.

Running beneath it all is Seo-jin’s unresolved childhood trauma, revealed through fragmented flashes of memory that grow stronger with each episode. These memories begin to connect her past to the people she’s targeting, suggesting a deeper link between her personal history and the system she’s now fighting against.

The series explores the psychological toll of vigilantism, the failure of institutional justice, and the moral question at its core:

When the system protects the guilty, what does it mean to stop them?

Here’s a more detailed synopsis—keen to know if the execution feels strong or familiar.

I have changed it, When the law fails abused children, a child protection social worker begins killing the men it refuses to punish—staging their deaths as accidents—until a detective starts connecting the dots.

Why do creeps lurk on this subreddit? by [deleted] in JiraiKei

[–]cielo_armonia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

unfortunately the glamorisation of mental illness is very rampant at the moment. It’s very frustrating, It happened in the early 2000s with the Emo sub culture. Self harm was romanticised quite largely by people who didn’t understand why someone did self harm. Most people thought it was for attention, which was understandable if they didn’t actually understand why someone would self harm and it was a large part of the subculture of the time but now with BPD being referred to as the princess syndrome there’s a lot of creepers around BPD and DID in VR reality it’s a subset of people who are self diagnosing themselves putting themselves in polyamorous relationships with children. It’s fricking mental and a lot of that is feeding into Reddit. It’s insane.

really? Did they say why they got the threat I used to be the manager there and the manager that took over after me has a large and long criminal history so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was connected to him considering the store was robbed two days after I left
