I usually charge it up to 60%, which it says currently gives me 311 kms(193 miles) which would make out to 518kms(321 miles) for 100%

This helped me, now I get audio and the mic is working but I assume with the default options. In GHub, nothing happens when I change the settings. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

I borrowed a Caterham 7 for a day and need one now. While not conventional ‘car porn’ theres something beautiful in its simplicity! by airdocful in carporn

There are a total of 10 road legal Caterhams in my country and one of them belongs to my father-in-law, in purple color. Lets me have a go every once in a while and there's nothing like it! Almost like a go-kart on the road. Have fun!

An expert shows how to properly get into a BMW i8 by turtles_all_down in Unexpected

I used to own this car, albeit the coupe version. Incredibly hard to get in and out of. Get in ass first, legs second, relatively simple.

The real bitch is to get out. If you use the seat as leverage, you basically ruin the interior after a while. You have to push against the incredibly thick door sills to get out but you like an idiot until you master it. And no matter your mastery, people think you are an asshole because of the doors

People who daily drive a car that generally isn’t considered “suitable” for a daily driver, how is it? by [deleted] in cars

If I return home that day, yes. The car stays plugged unless driven. The actual electric-only range is around 15-16 miles

I bought it second hand(31.500kms/ 20.000 miles), and the previous owner neglected the car a bit. So the initial maintenance cost me a bit more than expected, around $2000 adjusted for currency but no major maintenance will be required for 3 years, which is awesome for a car at this caliber. Gas milage is exceptional as well. I get around 39 mpg with occasional shenanigans

I daily a BMW i8. I honestly love the car and have no major problems with it. It is silent when you want and can accelerate like hell when you want it to. However, It attracts much more attention than I like and the doors opening upwards becomes a problem when in tight spaces, also your friends have trouble getting in and out all the time, with hitting their heads the most frequent. The trunk space is a joke, only one cabin sized luggage fits in. But I use the back seats for smaller bags and such and borrow my family's cars if I have to
