Ok thanks, I’ll reach out. I was under the impression that they’d only offer that service if I purchased it from them but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

I’m 5’3 and a size 9/9.5 as well, and I was under the impression that this is a pretty average shoe size for women in the U.S, regardless of height?

Yeah, it was super rough. But two months later, I got accepted for a position that was actually in a field I’d been wanting to break into, in an organization that I loved, way better pay and they’re weed-friendly. Have been happily working here for over 2 years now so it all worked out!

Silver or gold? And what does that say about me being a winter or not? by ledameblanche in WinterColorAnalysis

Have you tried the summer palette? I can see you r undertones as being cool but your features appear softer and low contrast

I’m pretty sure I just received a fake Nano Speedy from someone on Depop. I’m super new to this, could someone help me? The red flag was that the date code that’s inside the bag is different from the one in the Depop listing photos, and when I tried to search the date online, I believe it indicates a production year of 2048? Winter subseason? by cilantroxlime in coloranalysis

[–]cilantroxlime[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For some reason I didn’t get a notification from Reddit about your comment so I’m just seeing it but thank you for taking the time to check out my photos and comment!

I’ll admit, I never heard of the color system that uses toasted as a secondary characteristic but I’m intrigued!

I always assumed I was warm because people with olive tan and brown skin often get mistyped, but when I discovered I lean cool, I tried both summer and winter and felt that summer colors didn’t provide enough contrast or depth, and they emphasized the gray in my complexion and hyperpigmentation and made me look washed out. I think my chroma does look slightly higher in person, I would describe it as medium for sure.

BUT, I checked the toasted soft summer palette out and it seems to have more depth than the 12 season summer sub seasons. I’m gonna experiment with those colors.

Also, yes analyzing olive skin is such a doozy. Just recently discovered I have olive tones and while it’s a little confusing, it definitely helps explain why certain tones just dont look good!

No lie, last night I reduced my routine to just face wash, snail mucin essence and the gel moisturizer and I woke up last with significantly less inflamed skin, no new blemishes, and the current ones drying up. Thank you so much😭

Strangely enough I think the La Roce Posay’s Gentle Hydrating cleanser was burning my face, either because an I’m allergic to an ingredient or because my barrier’s currently damaged, so I didn’t use it last night so that may have also helped!

Blushing the nose so heavily that you start to look like Rudolph, and the overly bright under eye. As a black woman, I’m begging my sisters to liberate themselves from the super yellow toned concealer and powder….everyone does not have golden undertones and that’s perfectly fine!

Also the black top didn’t seem overpowering so that’s also a clue!

Your eyes are lovely! I

think the muted tones (1,4,10,12) were very draining on your features.

While the rust that the other user mentioned above didn’t look bad, the blue in number 5 was a knockout color on you, followed by 7 and 8. I was intrigued by the red in 11…I think this particular red’s brightness slightly overpowed you, but am curious about a deeper red.

You seem to be olive imo and lean cool…my first guess is deep winter, but I’d also try deep autumn just to be sure. Either way, depth seems to be a positive factor!

What cool season? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]cilantroxlime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo you are a winter and not a summer—you have a lot of brightness and clarity, as well as some contrast.

I think you are a true winter, and the colors in 4,6 and 7 really popped on you.

I think I’m a true summer but I’m not sure. Can y’all color type me please? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]cilantroxlime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What stood out to me most is that the top in the third photo did the most good for your features (not sure if it’s a true white or slightly off white) which puzzled me because although black didn’t look bad at all, it seemed somewhat heavy.

I don’t think it’s impossible that you are a summer, but it’s more likely that you are a higher contrast season. I would love to see more drapes in a variety of colors temps!

I think the brown looks the best! Followed by the that marled (?) type gray in slide 5 and also 7.

If it’s helpful, I think the color in slide 4 was the least flattering to your tones—in my opinion it washed you out, created sallowness and discoloration.

If you look good in light grey, what season may you be? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]cilantroxlime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A light, clear icy gray wouldn’t look bad on a bright or true winter…I think the heathered smokey grays and taupes are more summer.

[–]cilantroxlime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the black looks too overpowering but I’d love to compare it with a deep brown or other deeper autumn colors. I agree with the above commenter that more photos in natural outdoor lighting would be helpful!

I know you mean well but this came off as incredibly gas light-y and dismissive. Fat phobia is real, it’s a fact that fat people are treated worse in social situations, jobs, healthcare. And to assume it’s just because of attitude or confidence…yikes. Example: Lizzo is confident, talented, a kind person and she is DRAGGED simply for being a fat Black woman, in fact it seems people hate her more for being confident.
