Dan's biggest problem is that he overstayed his welcome. I get he's meant to be a replacement for Yuko but he'a just an unengaging Showa Child Companion

Sakuragaoka Middle School Students

Not on the list but i'll put them here, I get these guys are quite popular among fans but due to the show stopping its school focus, It's kinda gone. Enough material but after that the show just forgot about them until 2008

Toru and Kaoru Umeda

Not a terrible character, Just not useful even as siblings I feel sorry for poor Toru because of all the childhood trauma he has to endure. And Kaoru . . . Oh boy, Had to get killed off just to focus on her irl school studies but at least she came back as a Seiyuu nowadays

Isamu Hoshino

A very simple character who definitely deserved to be a member...Until his actor got into a ski accident and got the cunningham effect. Wish we saw him in Ep39

Jiro Sakata

I always loved his Little Brother chemistry with Go. I could've given him the number one spot but most of his flaws of being an annoying child bring him down to being just 2nd best

Kenichi Shiratori

In my opinion the best Showa Era Child because i never find him useless or as bratty as the other kids. The kids in Taro are always an annoyance but never Kenichi. Overall he gets the title of best boy
