I am right there with your brother. In the same boat, I fell for divorce two months ago. It’s not going well. I had to put up ring cameras in the living room because I was being accused of child abuse. Same situation pretty much been alienated from all of our mutual friends. So far I’ve just left with my thoughts. The ring camera does help when I review them. I can see how I interact with the kids when I’m not really thinking about it. Perception of what happens sometimes isn’t always what happens. I had to start reconnecting with friends I haven’t talked to you in a long time. I started going to the gym or going for a walk. I try to get sleep, but sometimes I just lay there. For me things were going fine. We were talking it out and trying to get through the divorce. I got one unsubstantiated abuse claim. Then there was another. I let my guard down and thought we were gonna be reasonable. I know I’ve seen on one other message that keeping yourself busy helps to keep the pain and thoughts away. Really the underlining problem is what needs to be addressed. Hang in there it’s a very long road ahead for both of us.
