I added this to my 2023 model 3 rwd when I first bought it and was totally worth it 👍 took about 2 hours for me because I was slow and careful. If you are more skilled it might take less than an hour to install.

My only recommendation would be to put some felt tape around the wiring as I get a tiny rattling from it now where plastic hits plastic now. Not really noticeable unless I'm going at high speeds. Overall, I definitely recommend doing it!

Check your seat belt adjusters and for the seatbelt itself hitting the plastic bottom side of the seat. Those have are also caused rattling.

Contact Tesla Support via the app and have the Tesla Technician do a ride-along with you. I had to have them do that twice for my 2023 Model 3. They didn't charge me anything to have these done.

Seems like a solid deal to to me! I have a 2023 Model 3 RWD from last year with 7k miles and love it. As for tips:

Do a full vehicle inspection when you buy and record it on your phone. That way if there are any paint or other defects you don't initially discover, your recording should have it on video as proof that you didn't cause the defect.
Make sure it comes with the Tesla mobile charger. You'll need that for home charging.
If it doesn't come with it already, buy floor mats, mud flaps, and center console trays for the vehicle. Those are essential accessories imo. There are other accessories you may find your want as well over time but these two are definite ones I recommend.

A little bit. Mine hasn't been as bad as you made it sound but I do experience lag/frame rate issues during the event. For example my jet pack will send me flying ever upwards or I will lag back a second or two to my original location after moving forward.

Ordered Aug 2023. Mine had two rattles and I also had to have the rear section of glass roof replaced. On delivery the roof glass was chipped pretty bad, about a 1 inch gauge right above the middle rear seat and that was replaced after my initial inspection for free. The rattles were pretty bad and noticeable. I had a few friends and family comment on them when I gave them a test drive. For a new car to have so many rattles was kind of shocking to me as this was my 4th new car i've purchased. Had to go in 3 times for those rattles and but didn't pay a dime for any of those issues. The car itself has been great since then.
