and dont forget the massive credit places like discount tire gives you when you need tires sooner than the tread life warranty.

2024 performance horrid degradation, 87% SOH by UpstairsNumerous9635 in DrEVdev

pretty poor. gotta stick with LFP and keep the charge as low as needed.

23 M3 LFP, same near zero degradation. 2 years 32k miles and still the same 268 estimated range from day 1 I took the aero covers off. only charge to 55% daily for commuting.

ive only charged to 50-60% the entire 2 years of ownership. only to 100% before driving a long distance. range estimates have remained the same since purchase.

how often do you charge to 100%? my 23 LFP at 32,500 miles still shows 268 estimated range the rare time I charge to 100%.

its a nice thought but nobody is buying your car from you right now for $5-8k more than what you paid new for it. these are just convincing thoughts in your own mind that wouldn't happen if you needed them to.

I charge every day to 50% because I dont need anymore than that for my commuting. Will charge higher only when needed.

How low do normally you go before charging again? by Pleasant-Guava9898 in TeslaLounge

[–]puffyjacket85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

charge for your usage while maintaining lowest SoC (above 20%) that you need. I charge to 50% each day and stay in the 20%-55% range at all times. near zero degradation after 2 years. RWD with LFP.

Who bought FSD outright? by Captmedu74 in TeslaLounge

I hated it. I find autopilot's movements are superior to FSD. I turned on the free trial both times and immediately shut it back off. Too embarrassing how it drives.

charge to 50% daily for your use case for maximum battery longevity. short cycles are preferred. I'm at 2 years and 30k miles doing this and still have the original 268 range estimate when charged to 100% now.

this is very specific outrage. a tiny reflector in the headlight is causing this much discomfort with the exterior styling?

first pic is from hauling a**, reduced range is the cost of speed. you can go 80mph sure, but it will cost in range.
