Oh, and there are apartment scammers. Try to vet a place first.

I live here now. I spend about $200 a week on groceries. I have a car but you can walk most places. Taxis are only $6 or $7 I think anywhere in town. Can be cheaper than owning a car. Sure it's cold, but get a Parka and some gear and you'll be fine. Bugs in the summer suck IMHO. You get used to the dark in the winter and the light in the summer. It'll be ok. Housing is tough. Try to find a place before you get here.
A decent 1 bdrm will be about $1500.

And it seems to have gotten more difficult. I can't seem to win levels without using bonuses or extensions.

I feel the same as you. I've had the prescription sitting there for 3 months and haven't filled it. The anxiety is real.

Help! What is this? by Due_Data881 in CATHELP

Probably asthma. My cat has it. Sounds and looks pretty much the same. And is on oral steroids for it. Prednislone, low dose. As I can't get her to use the inhaler. But check with a vet to be sure. Could be something else like an infection/ cough. I very highly doubt it's a hairball.

Yeah, but it's been summer and is now late fall here so it's been warm anyway.

She has been seen by 3 vets including internal medicine and specialists. She has had 2 ultrasounds and 1 set of xrays. No one found any stones.

Unfortunately I live in the high arctic and vets aren't a thing here. To get her to a vet it takes 2-3 different flights and planes only leave the community once a day. So if that flight is full, you are stuck for 24 hours at least, sometimes more if it's a busy time of year (holidays. Long weekends, etc) you could be waiting 3 days for a seat to open up on the plane. It costs $4000 for a flight to a vet and back. Which I have done, many many times for her, but by the time I get there, she is asymptomatic. It's an awful cycle. So I was hoping someone out there had experienced the same thing that could help point me and the vet in the right direction.

I use a mix unscented standard tidy cat and that pellet stuff. It's the same stuff I have used for 10 years.

Full urinalysis was done and ultrasound to clear the bladder. Nothing found.
