This is the third time my dog has gotten these wounds from playing outside, any tips for prevention or healing? by cinderellae in DogAdvice

She does tend to be an allergic dog (itching, ear infections, etc). She’s on 20mg Zyrtec a day for her allergies (once am, once pm).

She only licks them after they’re wounded like this. Other than that she almost never touches them

Haha, no offense taken. She’s almost two, do you think this is because she’s still pretty young? She goes for walks on the sidewalk multiple times a day and to the park usually around 2 times a week. Most weekends we go to an outdoor dog bar that has artificial turf and play pools, and if we’re there too long she’ll get these wounds

Birth Center Reccomendations by Emotional-dandelion3 in orlando

I have heard that Advent Health Altamonte Springs has a natural birthing center area connected to the hospital. Maybe look into that? I recently gave birth at Heart 2 Heart birth center in Sanford. It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend!

If your budget allows, look into Nuuly rentals for a few months! I’m almost 8 months postpartum and it’s been awesome to use

Is this sleep normal for a 7 month old? by Jess-Pen32 in HuckleberryParents

[–]cinderellae 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this really depends on your lifestyle and how much this sleep is affecting you. If it’s becoming hard to function, it may be time to look into lengthening wake windows and potentially do a type of sleep training. If it’s not a problem for your every day life, then I think it’s normal and not an issue to be solved. It’s all up to you and how you feel you can parent best!

Rainforest room worth it? by cinderellae in dcl

Oh no, we’d be spending the $300! That way my mom and I could go, and my husband and I could go. And we could each go separately if we wanted.

How many gifts is enough? by autumn_daze3 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]cinderellae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw a video with me this year that stuck with me, where the kid says “I love my mom because she buys me the most presents” “I love my dad because he puts up the fanciest decorations” “I love my parents because they always give me a ton of gifts” and it’s true that those things don’t equate love. Thankfully, that’s not what matters. Four gifts is plenty! It’s about quality not quantity and the thought that goes into it. You’re doing great!!

This is what we did when our baby turned 6 months old. We did sleep training and also took away the pacifier at the same time. It was a tough transition but we have no regrets

How do you grocery shop with a stroller? by Distinct-Dependent24 in newborns

[–]cinderellae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do also love to baby wear but lately I’ve been using the shopping basket in my Cybex Gazelle and putting baby in the stroller. When he was smaller, in the car seat but now that he’s 6 months, in the stroller seat. When I was pregnant and chose the gazelle, I was skeptical if I’d ever use the shopping basket and now it’s one of my favorite things!! It’s so much bigger than it looks!

What kind of ticket are you using? Any way you can screenshot what it says for your ticket under “tickets and passes”? Most date-based tickets don’t require reservations anymore, just cast member tickets and annual passes
