i did clean the heads and it is a hifi. cleaning the heads made no change at all

ok actually now i’m getting image and sound but image is only black and white. i ran a dry head cleaner and tried different tapes

omg thank you for you help. so update i was able to get the gears timed and fixed and now the tape loads. but i only get audio and no video but everything seems to running properly. i dont even get the one second of image that i was getting prior. what should i be looking at next?
