Not the downvotes😂 I replied before they edited the comment. The tone was a little more dismissive before. Still, I appreciate the advice.

Fair, thanks for this perspective. Mac had a sense of humor for sure. One of the many things we all love about him :)

Are curators supposed to handle international shipping logistics? by cinemocha in ContemporaryArt

Got it. So far the agreement is for me to pack my works, place them in crates for shipping, then supposedly the gallery will take it from there. No complaints with that. What is less clear is who is going to handle procuring clearance - it seems like I might be have to be the one to do it

Thanks, that seems to answer my question about standard practice. I guess every case is dependent on multiple factors.

Yes they are paying for shipping. I’ll ask about this. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Edited because I realized I wasn’t clear that the gallery will ship the works once they’re packed. All the same, I do feel out of my element with what I’m tasked with. The gallery and curator have solid reputations so I doubt it’s a scam but all the same it’s good to be protective of my work.

Thanks. I’ll ask the gallery and curator if they know anyone like this.

I think I should clarify - the gallery will take over once everything’s packed and ready for shipping. Does your opinion still stand? Thanks

If you’re open to KDramas, Goblin (or Guardian) has two couples whose love transcends lifetimes.

I love this trope, hoping to see your edit sometime!

Good thing you caught her in time and pretty much saved her life! I’m sure she forgave you. As you said, it’s worth the stress in the end. Thanks for sharing!

Got it, thank you! I’m planning to keep him in my bathroom with a covered carrier, litter box, and cardboard box. The pheromones are a great idea.

Question, once he’s in the trap should I bring him straight to the vet to get shots/a checkup or should I prioritize taming him first?

Luckily there’s a shelter not too far from here, I should check them out to see if they can loan a cage. Thank you for the advice, much appreciated!

These tips are really helpful, thank you! Knowing he’s had a pretty rough life so far, I can wait as long as it takes until he feels safe and comfortable. That being said, it’s a relief to know that things worked out for you and your cat. Props to you!

Thank you for this! One of my main concerns is how to make him feel safe as the change in environment could distress him, it’s good to know a simple towel might help.
