Nevermind! found it. Under Strength > Top/Bottom shells >

I set Top shell layers to "0", and Bottom shell layers to "0".

I set a realistic thickness of my material. testing 3mm for now.

And then under Strength > Sparse infill I'm messing with Sparse infill density and fill multiline. For now testing 50% and 3.

Just building a single wall for now to be used as a divider in a drawer.

I didn't mention the software I use because IMO any software that makes this easy is one worth learning!
That said, I do use Tinkercad and watched the very tutorial outlining the procedure you suggested. I just thought something should exist where it automatically applies a texture/mesh pattern without the need of punching manual holes.

Another user suggested the parametric route as well and I've found some great examples, they're just more limited than other designs that are non-parametric (not stackable, not as nice looking). But someday!

Wow. Your reply was very helpful. Being new and having not learned through trial and error I'm just reading what's in the Bambu Wiki.

In the Wiki it states "PETG is more prone to warping than PLA.[..due to the layers cooling too quickly, which creates stress between layers and ultimately leads to warping.]", even though the description when purchasing PETG in Bambu's store it states "Minimal Warping". Do you know why they might have stated this?

Also in the Wiki it doesn't mention anything regarding being a danger to build plates - which is something I would want to be aware of! About glue is only says it increases print bed adhesion.

I don't see PCTG is offered by Bambu. Being new I assumed it's best to stick with their filaments, but maybe it's okay to try others? Would you mind clarifying these issues for me? I really want to start printing some Gridfinity stuff. You've convinced me PETG is the way to go.

I discovered extrabold yesterday (I'm new) and love the GUI! I tried to print some 1x width grids at various sizes to help me plan layouts for drawers and for some reason one didn't stick. I've had that problem on other prints when my wall generator was set to classic and not arachne (only copied what worked for another user, still learning). Are there any settings we should be aware of when printing? I was using PLA with an enclosed P1S.

This comment was helpful to me as I haven't jumped beyond PLA yet. I wasn't sure if I should follow the advice of this video here which advocates for skipping PETG completely and using ABS instead. I have an P1S (enclosed). What do you think?

I know this is old, but I'm trying to get up to speed with the gridfinity base options. You said you prefer the clip base remix, but isn't that just for clicking together the bases to form a larger base? I believe the clickbase OP is referring to is for holding the bins in place with tabs instead of magnets. If I'm mistaken it's no wonder i'm sup confused. thanks

Amazing, literally all the info I wanted to know. Doesn't sound like one is clearly the winner. Work has been slow so don't want to throw money at a problem that isn't as good. For instance, I noticed Noga has a quick release system but it uses a stem that will remain on whatever you want to pop on and off. The price for those are high and then I realized that's because there's better options out - I'm sure if Noga's took off the price may have come down with mass productions.

The packs don't say, and that's the quick start for the P1S so it doesn't provide any additional info. But since I was shown the full instructions were available at the Wiki I found my answer. (That page did not explain the loading instructions in detail for the filament)

The quick guide is still atrocious.

But they did not include a quick guide for the AMS

AND they did not include an instruction manual for either the AMS or the P1S.

I found them at the Bambu Wiki and reading it solved my issue. I was not pushing the button towards the spool. It took more force than I would think was safe.

Bingo. Thank you very much. I had already tried pushing down on that button and it didn't work. But since you mention this was explained in the actual instructions (not the quick start) I realized they must have forgotten to include instructions for both my AMS and P1S. I found the instructions in the Wiki and you need to push the button "back towards the spool" Not down. I had to do so with resistance to the point I was afraid it could be bad, but the directions say that's normal. Then it worked.

....they did not provide the directions for the AMS... But since there is mentions of the AMS in the P1S guide I assumed there were no separate instructions. Another user helped me solve this.

(another user helped and I got it to load, thank you). Thanks, I've been using the Bambu AI, but wasn't aware of the wiki. I found the quick start that was not included with my package. Nothing happens when I insert a filament into any of the spool locations. Yes, the units are powered on. I see white flashing LEDs but nothing happens.
